There's a fantastic choice of car parks at Gatwick, serving both the North and South terminals. Choose from official on-site car parks like Gatwick Long Stay parking, cheap off-site Park and Rides including Purple Parking, and convenient Meet and Greet services such as Maple Parking Meet and Greet.

The turn-up-and-park Gatwick Long Stay prices are £25 per day for the first day and £20 for subsequent days. It is cheaper to book in advance with Holiday Extras. You can reserve a space at Gatwick-approved Park and Rides such as APH and Cophall for as little as £6.74 per day.

Customers can turn up on the day and pay Gatwick’s roll-up prices. We always recommend that you pre-book for the very best prices - you can save up to 70% by doing so.

Long Stay is not within walking distance of the terminals. Hop on the free shuttle, which typically takes around 10 minutes to get to the airport.

Yes. If you wish to cancel your Gatwick Parking, you can cancel for FREE anytime up until one minute to midnight the day before your booking was meant to start. You can read more about this on our Terms and Conditions.

Gatwick parking works slightly differently depending on the type of parking option you choose. With a Park and Ride package you’ll park up, keep hold of your keys and get a transfer to and from the terminals. With a Meet and Greet service, a professional driver will park your car for you, allowing you to walk to check-in. On your return they’ll bring your car back to you.

If you can’t find your car, visit the car park reception or use the help point where staff can quickly locate your vehicle using your booking details.

Car parks charge a premium for turning up on the day, so it always works out cheaper to book your Gatwick parking in advance. The earlier you book, the bigger the saving. When you pre-book with Holiday Extras you can save up to 70% off the gate rate prices. You'll usually get the best rate by booking 4 to 6 weeks in advance.

There is no minimum or maximum length of stay in Gatwick Short Stay car parks. The 'short' in Short Stay doesn't refer to the duration you can park for, instead it's more of a reflection of how close it is to the terminals. If you’re picking someone up, you can park in the Short Stay car parks for up to 30 minutes for £5. If you need to stay longer, standard Short Stay prices continue to apply by the hour.

You can drop passengers outside Gatwick North in the dedicated drop off zone. It costs £5 for 10 minutes and £1 for each additional minute up to 20 minutes. The maximum charge is £25 for the duration of 30 minutes.

While you can turn up and park at Gatwick Airport Short Stay and Long Stay, it will cost you more. We recommend pre-booking your parking at Gatwick to enjoy the cheapest rates. Parking for a full day without pre-booking will cost £45 at the Short Stay car park and £30 at the Long Stay car park. If you’re picking up passengers, you can park in the Short Stay car parks (North and South terminal) for up to 30 minutes for £5.

Long Stay parking is FREE for the first two hours, and then £25.00 per day for the first day, and £20.00 for the following days. The Gatwick Long Stay car parks are served by a 5 minute bus transfer every 10-15 minutes, 24/7.

At present, Holiday Extras doesn't sell Long Stay Parking, but we do have the APH Park and Ride instead which only has a 10 minute transfer time.

Gatwick recommends using the Short Stay car park when picking up passengers. Prices start from £5 for up to 30 minutes, £8 for 31 - 60 minutes, and £13 for 1 - 2 hours. For a full list of prices, take a look at our table below. You can also park for FREE for up to 2 hours at the Long Stay car park.

The drop off charges are: £5 for 10 minutes. £ 1 for each additional minute. If you’d rather avoid forecourt charges, park for FREE in the Gatwick's Long Stay car park for 2-hour pick-up with a shuttle.

You have until midnight the day after you use the Gatwick drop off zone to pay. You can pay online or by phone on 0330 174 4503.

Late payment or non-payment of the Gatwick drop off charge will be enforced through a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) at a charge of £100 (down to £60 if you pay within 14 days).

Blue Badge holders are exempt from drop-off charges, as long as you register your number plate in advance.

Dropping off at Gatwick Airport costs £5 for 10 minutes and there are specified drop off zones at both the North and South Terminals. The North Terminal drop off zone is situated on the lower level forecourt between the Sofitel and the multi-storey car park. The South Terminal drop off zone is also located on the lower level.

We recommend going to the Short Stay car park if you prefer to have a longer goodbye with your passenger(s). Alternatively, you can park for FREE for up to 2 hours at the Long Stay car park but you will need to get a transfer bus to get to the terminal.

Disabled parking is not free at Gatwick Airport car parks: Gatwick Long Stay, Gatwick Short, APH Park and Ride, and Purple Parking Park and Ride. Meet and Greet operators, such as ACE Meet and Greet and Maple Parking, are also suitable.

The Express Pick Up area. Prices start from £5.00 for 10 minutes. Pick up parking is also available at the Long Stay South car park; parking is FREE for the first 2 hours and transfers take 5 minutes.

Valet Parking, also known as Meet and Greet Parking, is one of the easiest Gatwick Airport Parking options: simply drive to your terminal, meet your fully insured driver, and they will park your car for you whilst you head off to check in. To travel between the two Gatwick Terminals, hop aboard the Gatwick shuttle train. It is located near the train station at the South Terminal.

Yes, the shuttle runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and takes only 2 minutes to get from terminal to terminal.

Gatwick Airport recommends arriving at least 2 hours before your flight departure time to allow plenty of time to check-in and pass security.

Yes, Gatwick Airport provides a range of disabled parking options at both the North and South Terminals. Designated Blue Badge bays are available in all car parks, including both long-stay and short-stay facilities. The number of bays varies by car park. If you require assistance or a space close to reception, please contact the airport in advance. Options include Park and Ride with accessible transfer buses, or Meet and Greet services for added convenience.
