The whole experience from booking on line to picking up the car is absolutely seamless. Takes the stress out of travelling and so easy to get to get to the terminal from drop. I have used the car washing service which is also terrific.

We booked the parking space with Gatwick Holiday Parking (GHP). We followed the road signs to GHP but arrived at the wrong car park where you are required to leave your car keys. The staff directed us to the Gatwick North CarPark. We had a similar problem on our return to the car park when we tried to board the bus for GHP and were told it was the wrong bus. I think it should have been made clear that we were booked into the Gatwick North Car Park and not GHP.

Drop off was good at South Terminal (Gatwick). Slightly more challenging to find pick up point at North Terminal but the car was waiting for us. I’m not sure where it had been parked but near somewhere sandy - it was filthy. Might be an idea to think about how/where the cars are parked, ours wasn’t the only one like that. Could have been a weather factor but suspect it’s just where they are parked.

It is so easy. Drive in, park your car, hand over the keys and walk a few metres to the terminal. No hassle and reliable. Same process in reverse on your return journey. We were driving out within 8 minutes of leaving the terminal. Have used this service many times and have two further bookings this year.

No instructions given just to meet at the Terminal rang for help very difficult to understand who answered all I really got was Orange that meant nothing to us fortunately the Airport staff assisted and directed us to the Orange short stay car park and once there another staff directed us to Level one dispute being told by car park officials that level one was closed so we parked on the ground level and spotted a Maple M&G car the driver told us to move the car to level one this fine then all was good and the return excellent

It's just so easy, dropping the car at the office on the ground floor of the Sofitel car park directly opposite the walkway into the north terminal & then picking it up on return from your trip. What's not to like?!

On the way to the airport driver has driven a bit too fast and some of the luggage fell over. On the way back to your carpark the driver was fantastic. He helped each bus passenger put heavy suitcases on the rack. Well done.

Everything went well until we tried to leave the car park and the ticket we were given wouldn't work. We had to get home to pick our dog up from the kennels otherwise we would have gone back to the car park. Ended up paying an extra £8 to get out!

Quick and easy service. Cars were safe and secure. Shuttle took around 10/15mins from purple parking to North Terminal. Had to wait about 25 minutes at the bus stop on the way back but we knew that was a possibility. Only downside was I thought the driver could have helped people with their luggage.

Leaving the car and collecting it again went smoothly. Our car is a plug in hybrid. Once we were abroad my husband received several messages on the Kia app, saying that the car was unlocked and switched on for 15, 30 and 45 minutes. This was rather worrying, and we wondered whether we'd come back to a flat battery. We mentioned this to a member of staff when we returned but he just shrugged his shoulders.

Got us to the airport and back, so overall it was good. However, on the way back, the bus was absolutely full and the driver had to ask passengers to move down in order to get everyone in. It suggested either a delay in the bus getting there or insufficient number of buses used, so something to take note of / improve .

Bus was waiting at bus stop and driver was fabulous- helping everyone who boarded the bus but needed to find a different bus!!

My first booking I handy realised was “we work it for you” I then cancelled it and rebooked Thai one. What I didn’t like was that instead of being refunded I was credited so that was disappointing but fortunately was able to book a “park yourself” option thru them. I think it should be more clearly stated what type of option it is and that if you cancel you will be credited not refunded.
The transfers to the terminal were perfect and frequent.

I had one slight issue which was when I booked the service I noticed that we were leaving from South Terminal but returning at the North Terminal. I called your office and was advised I will have to go to South Terminal to collect car. We did that but after 15 minutes asked staff if car was on its way but was told it was at North Terminal. Driver bought car to South Terminal for us. Minor inconvenience due to misinformation from office.

Overall we were very pleased with Airparks and the meet & greet service provided recently for our two week vacation from London Gatwick airport. The drop-off and pick up process worked reasonably well, and the total cost inclusive of one or two extras seemed competitive and good value for money.
The only slight disappointment was to discover that we had inadvertenly used an incorrect lane for our drop-off, despite having followed what we thought were the correct signs at LGW. On reflection, we felt that the written arrival instructions could have been a little clearer, perhaps with one or two photos to illustrate the correct lane and/or relevant signs.

It's so convenient having your car there at the airport being looked after, ready and waiting for you and not having to worry about public transport or what time you're arriving. Airparks were great but I can't recommend Meteor. Staff were lovely; but the parking is not well organised. I had to wait both at drop off and pick up. At pick up I was waiting 30 minutes for the car to be returned. I regularly use this type of parking and do not usually need to wait this long.

Always book purple parking through holiday extras as I seem to get a better deal the only thing that let’s it down is the transfer drop at Gatwick north terminal as it’s a bit of a walk with cases to the check in and on the return you seem to have to wait a while for the bus when all you want to do is get in your car and get home.

It took 3 days to obtain precise drop off instructions. They could be referenced at the time of booking.I have given the thorough was today to clear the bat and bird droppings from the paintwork and to clean out the air intakes for the cabin cooling and heating system to make it smell a lot fresher.

I have already notified Holiday Extras regarding a complaint of muddy footprints on floor mats and mud on centre console. It was dark when the car was collected and was not seen until the morning in the daylight. When we arrived at Gatwick North, we met Jerad who took our car to the car park. On our return, Steve in the control room dealt with our arrival promptly and Barry delivered our car almost as soon as we had walked out of the terminal. All three could not have been more pleasant and efficient in the way they dealt with us throughout. We definitely had five star treatment all all-round. We are very grateful for such a stress free experience.

The instructions were very clear on how to locate the car park. The booking in at the reception was quick and the shuttle was already waiting on our arrival. Again on our return the bus stop where we would be picked up was indicated to us by the driver and once we arrives there it was well signposted. Locating the car was also a very easy, not like some other car parks where we have had to search in the dark to find the position of where the car is parked. All in all a good service and reasonably priced

I'm finding the car park and the checking in process all went very smoothly. The bus sounded like it needed a little TLC as took 3 attempts to start! There was minimal time between arriving and leaving on the shuttle bus, which was brilliant.

Booking in at the airport went well. The drivers were always friendly.
Receiving our car back was not good:
1. It took nearly half a hour standing in very cold weather to get the car back. We had to phone again to check. It was not busy at the airport or on the roads around.
2. The car was spattered with mud down the side and all over the wheels.
3. The mileage shown on the dashboard was for 31 miles. (photos taken before and after). This usage and distance travelled is unacceptable, in my view.
4. We have used this service many times before and the whole service has been much better regarding the items mentioned above; the mileage, in particular, has been minimal.

APH staff were fantastic - friendly & efficient in reception, clear with instructions for collection of car on return.
Particular thanks to the drivers, both to and from the airport. I took a 20kg ski bag which is an awkward shape. I am capable of managing it but in both directions the driver assisted me with it and placed it in the lockable cage for such items on the bus, and took it off for me. Tremendous service for which I am truly grateful. Just having that area on the bus designed for longer thinner baggage is hugely helpful in itself.
In contrast, my recent experience with Purple Parking at Heathrow (also booked through Holiday Extras) was of a driver who sat at the wheel, watched me try to put the ski bag in the rack for regular suitcases (no upright cage available) then shouted from his seat that it could not go there and I would just have to hold it for the journey to the terminal. On my return journey again there was no attempt at help, no greeting, and when I was trying to disembark with a large backpack, a small shoulder bag and carrying the ski bag, another Purple Parking staff member stood on the bus talking to the driver, blocking my way and I had to ask to be allowed past - both were rude and unhelpful.

Really happy with the set up of ANPR barriers and good bus service to the terminal on our departure.
Arriving back at 11pm in dark, cold, wet and windy conditions we had to wait around 15 mins for the bus. Unfortunately our car wouldn't start so we sought help from the car park customer service team. The lady taking our call was helpful and arranged an on-site 'mechanic' for us which took about 20mins. We felt less than confident with him, he was somewhat grumpy and left us unrepaired, soaking, cold and nowhere to go - no buses coming and going at all.
Eventually we managed to get our luggage and ourselves into the car (modern electric cars!!!) out of the rain.
We called Green Flag and the man (James) was a joy. He started the car within literally 10 seconds - why the car park person couldn't do this was a puzzle to him.
Anyway, all things considered we would use the car park again - so much cheaper and more convenient than other options. I opted for flexible return date and so glad I did, as we ended up about 4 hours over time and into the next day.

Almost everything was perfect except being the only person on the return bus meant having to walk from the bus stop to my car at 1am with nobody else around in case anything happened. Not pleasant for solo female.

Initial Meeting (South Terminal) - was great, no issues, staff friendly and professional, quick, easy and straight forward.
Pick Up (North terminal) - not so good, staff difficult to understand, really needed a can opener to get into my car, parked so close to the next, I had to enter via passenger door - less than impressed!

We had a very early flight and the parking was excellent value for money. Dropped the car off shuttle was waiting and took about 5 minutes to south terminal departures. When we landed cleared customs made a phone call and my car was waiting back at the terminal.
Very easy to use and would definitely recommend.

All went well, except for lack of signs for the return transfer from Gatwick. We started off upstairs (had forgotten our departure location) at South Terminal, were told to go downstairs, but didn't see any sign for Purple Parking. Eventually worked out that we must be outside the airport, and finally found a label on bus stop 7.

I've not booked Maple Meet and Greet parking at Gatwick before but it was brilliant and just what we needed given our flight times and journey to airport and home etc. I'd definitely pay the extra to use this service again. The info about how to actually find the location of the Meet and Greet section is worth reading carefully if you haven't been before and unfamiliar with Gatwick buildings etc. All went so smoothly and perfectly.

What didn’t go well was really down to me not understanding the instructions. I was driving on my own and it was early in the morning. I would suggest adding to the instructions to ignore the satnav as that took me to entirely the wrong place.

Instructions were simple to follow, very straightforward check in at the Reception. Leave your keys and off you go across to North Terminal or as we did, to the Premier Inn which is next door. When we got back, our car was brought down to us from Level 3 of the car park and we were on our way home. Would definitely use the Meet and Greet service again.

Arrangements were good. Only issue was calling your number when we returned. Tried 6 or 7 times and each time it disengaged (other calls in and out to my phone working ok at the time). Eventually called another number gleaned from website and got through. When I reported this to the agent he seemed to think it was impossible that I didn’t get through. More understanding of the customers position needed

You advertise a 15 mins pick up time on return. We waited much longer than that. As there was no one to drop off at either terminal one has to assume no bus was sent out due to lack of numbers using it at that time. Unlikely to recommend your parking.

The walking route from the car park under the Sofitel at Gatwick North is very confusing and difficult (with baggage) especially in the dark. If the pathway could be remarked and better lighting installed it would improve the experience

I do use holiday extras 3-4 times a year and had no problems.
This time, Maple Parking at North Terminal Gatwick i did find my car to be pretty dirty, especially foot well areas. Many muddy smears around the internal drivers door area.
Had it been parked in a muddy field??
Brown "protective" paper was left in the driver's foot well, heavy mud deposits, although my mats were quite muddy.
It needed a good clean and hoovering out when I got home
