What does Flextras freedom mean?

We want to make sure that if you buy your holiday extras from Holiday Extras, you'll be getting the most flexible terms anywhere. The most flexible extras. Anywhere. Bar none.

Flextras: always flexible, always easy to amend and with zero charges for cancelling.

Our smartest choice is fully flexible Free Cancellation. You can amend or cancel up to the time you've booked to arrive. If you do need to cancel, we'll give you a voucher for the full value of the booking which you can use to book any holiday extra for when you need it. As long as you cancel by midnight on the day before your booking was due to start, we can give you a cash refund for the full value of the voucher within 14 days of it being issued. For transfers, free cancellations are available up until 24 hours before travel time.

Our Saver option is a great choice if you want to save a bit of money. You can still cancel and amend your booking up to the time you've booked to arrive and you'll still get a voucher for the full amount. The difference here is that you can't get a cash refund and the voucher must be used to rebook the same product.

What is Flextras?

Flextras is a flexible booking policy from Holiday Extras, created to help travellers should their travel plans change, giving them the ability to either cancel their Holiday Extras booking for a refund or for a voucher to re-book at a future date. It is designed to make this super-quick and easy so that you can book now without hesitation.

How do I get a refund?

With Flextras, organising a refund is quick and easy. Log in to your account and tap 'My bookings'. From here you can cancel your booking. If you need to cancel within 7 days of making your booking, you'll be issued a voucher for the full amount which can be exchanged for a refund within 14 days.

If you need to cancel 7 days or more after making your booking, you'll get the full amount back as a voucher which can be exchanged for a cash refund within 14 days (minus £10 - which we'll add to your account to use on your next booking).

If you need to cancel before your booked arrival time, you'll get the full amount back as a voucher. We can't give you a cash refund for bookings cancelled on the arrival date. Remember, for transfers it's slightly different. You need to cancel at least 24 hours before your transfer is due to take place in order to be entitled to the refund.

How do I use my Holiday Extras voucher if I have an account?

  1. Visit the Holiday Extras homepage
  2. Log in to your Holiday Extras account. You can do this using the yellow 'log in' button at the top right of your browser or phone.
  3. Search our site for the product you want and choose which one you want to buy.
  4. When it's time to pay select 'pay using voucher' on the payment page to make a new booking using some or all of your voucher balance.

How do I use my Holiday Extras voucher if I don't have an account?

  1. Visit the Holiday Extras homepage
  2. Search our site for the product you want and choose which one you want to buy.
  3. When it's time to pay select 'pay using voucher' on the payment page to make a new booking using some or all of your voucher balance.
  4. You'll need to enter your voucher reference here - you can find this on your voucher email.

How do I use my voucher if I booked with a Holiday Extras partner?

  1. You can either return to the site for the company you booked with, then follow from step 2 of the section above for if you don't have an account.
  2. Or you will soon receive an email from us that includes a specific link to follow so that you can use a voucher.
