As tasty as it gets

Whether you're after French cuisine or a good cup of tea, the Sofitel at Heathrow terminal 5 can provide it with style. The hotel's two fine restaurants and trendy cafe would be worth a visit by themselves, let alone when you're already staying upstairs! Whichever you choose, you're sure for a delicious meal.

Vivre is the hotel's main restaurant and your breakfast venue. Breakfast is dizzyingly-varied buffet of breads, pastries, fruits, yoghurts, cereals, preserves, juices and cooked breakfast items. Waiters will serve you with tea or coffee at your table. In the evening, the restaurant comes alive with several "theatre kitchens" where you can see your food cooked right in front of you. Choices include a fresh pizza oven, Chinese wok cookery, a grill or a deli.

La Belle Epoque

The tasteful and dramatic La Belle Epoque restaurant offers stunning runway views and delicious fine, French cuisine. With attentive waiting staff and exquisite decor, this is a far cry from a traditional hotel restaurant. Head Chef Andrew Cole even has a chef's table where diners can watch the incredible action in the kitchen through screens, giving you some indication of the level of skill and dedication involved in the food here.

Tea 5

Tea 5 is a relaxed cafe venue where you can stop to enjoy afternoon tea along with a beautiful cake or pastry made by the hotel’s own pastry chef, or you can be Parisien and have morning coffee with a Madeleine cake. There is also a "Tea Master" on site who will guide you through a tea menu and present you with a perfectly brewed cup of your favourite tea blend. It’s a relaxed and comfortable setting to enjoy a drink and a light bite.

Open from 7am - 4.30pm everyday.
