Sofitel Hotel, Heathrow : As good as it gets
The Sofitel is an ideal choice for customers who want hotels near Heathrow Terminal 5 - it's still the only hotel that you can walk to from T5. While there are a handful of Heathrow hotels with Terminal 5 in their name, they do require a transfer bus. The Sofitel, on the other hand, is actually connected to the airport by a covered walkway so you really can't get any closer. You can expect a great service, comfortable rooms and amazing facilities - meaning you can board the plane feeling relaxed, refreshed and pampered from the VIP treatment.
A great deal of thought has gone into making sure the Sofitel Heathrow provides everything its guests could desire, and doing it in style. Equal attention goes into the food, so whether you're a tea connoisseur or enjoy fine French cuisine, prefer a stir fry or handmade pizza, you'll find your tastes satisfied.
The Sofitel is one of the larger Heathrow hotels, so there's lots of room to cram in loads of amenities that will help make your stay that bit more pleasurable. On the ground floor is Avenue Sofitel, where you can find gift shops, a hair salon and fashion, jewellery and luggage vendors, and don't forget Terminal 5 is just a short walk away, so there are plenty more shopping opportunities there.
For a change of pace after all that shopping, you could sit and relax in the beautiful Zen Garden, or grab a work out in the 24-hour gym. If you're looking to pamper yourself, visit the beautiful spa to take advantage of the Hydro Suite, where you can wind down in the sauna, enjoy aromatherapy in the steam room, bubble your cares away in the Jacuzzi or simply float in the vitality pool. The spa and the relaxation room are open from 8am (9am on weekends) until 9pm for a fee. Alternatively, for an extra fee, you can book a relaxing treatment or apply the finishing touches with a manicure or pedicure.

This is a large hotel, so we'd recommend requesting a room close to a lift for convenience. For a bit more privacy, request a room on a higher floor, on the inside of the hotel.
Breakfast gets very busy around 8am, so try to avoid that time if you can.
Triple rooms at the Sofitel are Junior Suites which include club lounge access.
