Holiday Extras has been named the best workplace in travel in 2024.

The Hythe-based travel ancillary provider won the prestigious award at the 2024 Best Workplaces in Travel ceremony this week, which sees companies and brands across the sector come together to celebrate the best employers in travel.
Holiday Extras took the top spot in the Large Business category, which is awarded to a business with over 250 employees, coming ahead of brands including Iglu and Royal Caribbean Group.
The awards are based on independent employee engagement surveys, which asks individuals to rate what is most important to them. Common themes that the Holiday Extras team shared in their responses were that the company offers a great work-life balance, has supportive leaders, a positive and inspiring outlook, great teamwork, and fair pay.
