Extend your travel insurance for longer trips

Trip Extension Cover for Annual Cruise Policies

Planning an extended cruise or a longer getaway? With our new Trip Extension Cover, you can now extend your policy from up to 31 days to cover up to 45 or even 60 consecutive days of travel under your annual cruise insurance.

Why choose Trip Extension Cover?

We get it, 31 days isn't always enough. Whether you're planning a longer cruise or an extended city break, our new Trip Extension Cover has you covered.

With two simple add-ons available, you can extend your annual cruise policy to cover longer trips:

  • 45-day extension
  • 60-day extension

Whether you're setting sail on a longer cruise or spending a couple of months exploring Europe, this cover ensures you're protected for the full duration.

Who is it for?

Trip Extension Cover is available exclusively with our annual cruise policies – but don't let the name fool you. These policies cover more than just cruises, so the add-on applies to any trip you take, whether you're sailing the seas or soaking up the sun on land.

Whether you're off on a 6-week cruise, a city-hopping adventure, or an extended beach break, you'll be covered for up to 45 or 60 consecutive days.

Things To Know

This cover is available for Annual Multi-Trip Cruise policies only.

There are no additional exclusions or limits with this option beyond those already stated in your chosen policy.

Already have an annual cruise policy?

Good news – if your plans change, you can add trip extension cover mid-term to your existing annual cruise policy. It's a flexible way to make sure you're protected, even if your holiday runs longer than expected.

Key benefits:

Designed with cruise travellers in mind
Also applies to non-cruise holidays under the same policy
Can be added to any cover level

How it works

When you buy an annual cruise policy, you'll need to choose your cover level – Bronze, Silver, or Gold. At this stage, you'll see that the standard maximum trip duration is up to 31 days depending on the level of cover you select.

Want to travel for longer? No problem.

Simply add the Trip Extension Cover during checkout to boost your trip duration to 45 days or 60 days – depending on your plans.

This option appears in the add-ons section, after you've chosen your cover level. So whether you're off on a 6-week cruise or a long escape to Europe, you'll be protected from the moment your policy starts.
