The Premier Inn North is opposite the North terminal entrance, about 100 metres from the doors so you can walk straight there in just 5 minutes. From the South Terminal, you will need to catch the free, 24hr monorail to the North Terminal first, which takes 2 minutes.
Is the Gatwick shuttle free?
Yes, the Gatwick inter-terminal shuttle is a free rail service carrying travellers between the North and South Terminals. It runs 24 hours a day, passing every few minutes and the journey takes 2 minutes.
Which terminal is the Hilton at Gatwick located?
The Hilton at Gatwick is part of the South terminal, connected to the building via an exclusive indoor sky link. You can walk from the Hilton hotel to the South terminal in just 3 minutes.

How do I get from Gatwick Airport to Holiday Inn?
On the ground floor at each Gatwick terminal there are bus stops where a shuttle bus runs every 15-30 minutes to the Holiday Inn. This shuttle bus runs 24 hours a day from bus stop 8 at the North Terminal and bus stop 9 at the South Terminal. It costs £3.00 per adult and £1.50 per child aged between 5 – 15. There is no charge for children under 5.
Can you walk from the Travelodge to Gatwick Airport?
No, the Travelodge at Gatwick is not accessible on foot. But the Gatwick hoppa bus does run to the Travelodge. You can catch the bus from the pick-up zones outside either terminal which costs £3 per adult, £1.50 per child or a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) is £7.

Gatwick doesn't have any dedicated sleeping areas inside either of the terminals, however, there are soft seats and rows of padded benches without armrests where you can lay down if needed. Gatwick is bright, busy and noisy so, if you're lucky enough to find space, you will also need noise-cancelling earphones and an eyemask to attempt some sleep!
A much safer and more comfortable option would be to stay in one of the hotels connected to the terminals on the public side of security.
