Although the Premier Inn, London Gatwick Airport, A23 Hotel is one of the lower-priced Gatwick airport hotels, it has a high-quality feel and efficient, friendly staff. The hotel is immediately welcoming, with a helpful reception desk and a convivial restaurant and bar area which serves food and drinks throughout the day (and night!).
The Premier Inn Gatwick A23 Airport Way, formerly the Premier Inn Gatwick Central, is an excellent choice for those travelling to Gatwick airport by car. It's just a four-minute drive from junction 9 of the M23, which makes it extremely easy to reach from the motorway, and is also within easy reach of Gatwick airport' Long Stay car park. Book your vehicle into the Gatwick airport Long Stay, just a few minutes drive away, and you can drop it off as soon as you arrive, leaving you to relax and start enjoying your holiday.
The hotel and parking overnight was easy with no problem. Comfortable stay and good food at the restaurant on the evening. The meet and greet was easy and efficient both on arrival and return.

To get to the terminal, the regular G2 bus service picks up from immediately outside the hotel's main entrance and takes just 10 minutes to reach the South terminal, and a further five minutes to reach the North terminal.
The Premier Inn Gatwick A23 Airport Way has a pleasant modern restaurant with a wide ranging menu of British pub-style dishes for both lunch and dinner, as well as a comfortable lounge area. There's also wifi (chargeable) in all areas, including the rooms. For any forgotten holiday must-haves, there's also a Shell garage next door with all the essentials which is open 24 hours a day.
We recommend the Premier Inn Gatwick A23 Airport Way for:
Families - Family rooms are spacious enough for two adults and two children, plus all those suitcases! Children are allowed in the welcoming bar area at all times and a special childrens menu is provided. Room rates are the same no matter how many people are staying, so the Premier Inn is also an affordable choice for families.
Parking - Gatwick airport's Long Stay car parks are extremely close to the hotel and getting there doesn't even involve driving on a main road. There's also a convenient secure car park at the hotel for the night of your stay.
Public transport - It's possible to walk to the North terminal from the hotel in less than five minutes and from here it's a simple (free) shuttle ride to the South terminal where you'll find the train station, with regular trains into London.
Spacious rooms with a king-size bed, blackout curtains, free wifi and an en-suite bathroom.
Getting to the airport
Park overnight at the hotel (it costs £16) and drive to Purple Parking in the morning. To get to and from the car park you can use the shuttle bus which is included in the price.

There are two Premier Inns very close together at Gatwick. The Premier Inn A23 is the one just back from London road and usually the second one you'll come to, so make sure you have the right one.
Check in from 3pm. Check out by 12 noon.
Parking
Park overnight at the hotel - it's £16 per car. On the morning of your flight drive to Purple Parking - shuttle buses run to both terminals every 20 minutes, take 15 minutes and are included in the price. Your car is parked for you while you get the shuttle bus to the airport.
Larger or commercial vehicle? The car park has changed its terms and conditions meaning that some larger vehicles are no longer accepted. Please read below for full details on whether the car park will accept your vehicle.
Wifi
There is free wifi throughout the hotel. It's fairly slow, so we'd recommend paying £5 to upgrade if you need a faster connection.

Bedrooms are spacious with large beds and blackout curtains. Triple rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed and family rooms have a double bed and 2 sofa beds. Those aged 15 and under are classed as children.

For any extra essentials, there's a petrol station next to the hotel - it's open 24 hours a day.

The hotel serves an English and continental breakfast for £10.50 per person. If you prefer continental only, it's £8.50 per person.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £10, which is subject to change.
