The large, comfortable rooms put some more-expensive hotels to shame, but the fantastic, friendly Thyme restaurant is what really draws in experienced travellers. They know it's the perfect place to find familiar food with a minimum of fuss. In fact, regular travellers know the trick with airport hotels is to pick the Premier Inn for precisely what they need at a price they can afford.You can check in from 3pm and grab a coffee at the Costa cafe in the hotel, while you take in the fantastic view of the terminal. Costa serves all the usual cakes and sandwiches along with its renowned coffee, and is the perfect place to recover from your long drive.
When you head up to your room, you can expect comfort that outstrips what you paid and a lot of purple. There's Freeview TV and free wifi in the rooms, but you can pay a little extra for faster internet if you need it. The room has blackout curtains, air conditioning and the bed will be exceptionally comfortable.
You're in for a treat at the hotel's Thyme restaurant. It has the same kind of atmosphere, service and food that you'd find at your local family pub. The dinner menu is available from 17:00 to 22:30, then you can head into the bar and toast your holiday until 01:30.
The Premier Inn Breakfast is bigger and better than ever. Choose as much as you want from the mouth-watering menu, including succulent sausages, crispy back bacon, eggs the way you like them and beautifully baked pastries, with fresh juices, tea and unlimited Costa coffee. Check out by 12 noon and take the short walk across to the North terminal - it takes no time at all. From there, there's a free monorail across to the South terminal if that's where you need to be.

If you're parking overnight, you'll need to head to the North terminal Short Stay and look for car park 6. Park there and take your ticket to the Premier Inn reception nearby. The hotel will arrange your parking during your stay for a discount price of £19.50 and validate your ticket so you can get out.

Getting from the hotel to the airport
The Premier Inn North is just a short walk from the North terminal. If you're flying from the South terminal, just walk to the North and then take the free monorail to the South. It runs every 3 minutes and only takes 2 minutes.
Drive to Purple Parking to drop off your car - you'll find full details on your booking confirmation.
Park in one of the arrival bays, take note of the number and head to reception to hand over your keys and booking details. You'll be given a ticket with instructions on what to do when you return - remember to keep this safe.
Your car will be parked for you while you board the transfer bus to the terminal. Transfers run every 20 minutes, take 15 minutes to get to the airport and are included in the price.
Once you're at the North Terminal it's a 2-minute walk to the hotel.
The hotel is connected to the North Terminal by a covered walkway - it's a 2-minute walk.
For the South Terminal, take the covered walkway to the north terminal, then catch the free monorail. It runs every 3 minutes and take 2 minutes.
Catch the shuttle bus back to Purple Parking. It's bus stop 6 at the North Terminal and bus stop 7 or 8 at the South Terminal. You'll need to show the ticket you were given when you arrived to the bus driver as you board.
Collect your keys from reception drive to the exit barrier.
Drive to the designated drop-off area, where you will meet the driver from Maple Meet & Greet. You'll be given a ticket with instructions on what to do when you return - remember to keep this safe.
Your car will be parked for you while you are away in a secured site.
From there, walk to the hotel - it'll take 2 minutes.
