Holiday Inn many new staff who doesn't know the procedures and couldn't be bothered to accommodate us for a meal, we ended up eating off site. The purple parking was however outstanding couldn't fault it

Poor air-conditioning in room, far too hot as the windows would not open. Room smelt strongly of urine. Very disappointed even for a cheap room.

Hotel fine. Unfortunately Purple Parking a mess up from start to finish! They had us booked in from the day before we flew from Heathrow. This meant completely new details when we did arrive (as planned with PP) and failed to have our return flight details on our return so long wait for our car to be returned to us. So.....Hotel ok but parking pretty naff except to say staff there very pleasant. Without them we'd have had a serious problem!

I took out cancellation insurance when booking Our flight was cancelled so called up to ask for a refund. I was told that because it was within 24 hours the hotel had said that they would not refund. We decided to have the night at the hotel anyway as we had taken the week off. When we spoke to them they said that they would make a refund up until four o'clock on the day and that it was holiday extras that were refusing to return our money! Not impressed. I rated eight because not had a problem before but then again never tried to cancel!

Hotel was fine. Transfer both ways was a disaster. the bus (as stated) only goes to terminal 5. The hopper bus to other terminals does not exist. The transfer bus driver suggested the undergound as the only method of getting to terminal 2. Having travelled up and down various lifts (very poorly signposted) it trans pired that only way of travelling to terminal 2 at no extra cost was the Heathrow Express although this entailed about 1/2 mile walk at the other end dragging your cases behind you. VERY UNSATISFACTOY and not what was expected from the documentation supplied.

This is second time that we arrived at the parking and they were not aware of our booking and had no paperwork. They were very helpful and accepted the car but it was a worry to us. They said hol extras were not good at sending the information of booking to them.

Fantastic hotel with a large clean room and a comfortable bed! Only 10 mins by Hoppa bus to T5. No problems with parking for the week whilst I was away. I would definitely return!

The room at Holiday Inn Express T5 was too warm for a comfortable nights sleep. When we put the air conditioning on it did nothing but blow a dusty smell around the room (and that was at its coldest setting) Other than that the quality overall was really good and a great price through Holiday Extras for a double room night stay and two weeks parking.

The hotel was just as expected, clean and comfortable, the airport transfer was very easy to use. Parking at the hotel could have been tricky with a bigger car as there were very few spaces left - although there were lots on our return.
