was ok on leaving the Departure exit of the Airport heading for my car. On arriving to the barrier inserted my card to find my very frustration was asking me for £80.00. by this time I just wanted to get home, however after pressing for help the helpful gent took my Reg No and surname all sorted barrier lifted great was on my way home.

A ramp is needed by the access steps for a shorter route to terminal, it is impossible to carry cases up the steps.

Really easy to drive into the car park but getting out was a nightmare. Even though Holidayextras take your flight details so they know when you're taking off and landing back, they don't flag up if your parking date and time don't match your flight. I didn't realise this so it ended up costing me £15 extra to get out of the car park. We landed back early morning and were in the car by 1.45am, but got stuck at the car park barriers until 2.30am. All the barriers broke so loads of cars got stuck, then the machines broke so we couldn't pay the extra money they wanted so we could leave. The staff they sent to fix the problem were really friendly - the company's main redeeming feature.

our return flight was altered to a 10 hour later flight. I have paid extra premiums to cover a late return but had to pay £15 at the airport meet and greet to leave the carpark. I have no contact details as to how I can sort this refund. I would appreciate advice on how to sort.

Car park barriers in Cardiff Airport refused to open for anyone who had pre-booked parking which is not what you want in freezing conditions in the early hours of the morning.

Exit from the Car Park was via a flight of stairs. Not much fun carrying suitcases up them. On the return having to carry them down by street light. Have been booking with your company now for some thirty years, yes thirty years. Was in the holiday trade, front line, have sold hundreds of car parking for you. This is the first time I was not satisfied Would not recommend this particular car park to anyone. Is there not another area you can use at Cardiff Airport? This is not a moan, please take it as constructive criticism Colin Knight

the long stay car park at Cardiff airport needs direction signs when coming out from the arrivals If you arrive in the dark it's hard to remember where the car park is l I wasn't the only one I know it's not your fault but needs to be pointed out to customers

Poor signposting to long stay car park particularly as we arrived before dawn. Car park still full of potholes with poor drainage and uneven surfaces. No signs to the terminal from the car park. Most car parks at least have alphanumeric parking identifiers in good airports.

e sorted out.Entry and exit plus arrows showing direction of travel expected, are farcical. 2) Couldn`t find a ramp to take cases up and down..only steep steps. This needs to be stated as nearly killed my husband as bicep/appendicular problems..plus both aged! 3) Would vastly improve experience if the rows were demarked in some way. Parking in the daylight..vastly different from searching for one`s car in the early hours. Wrecked my case`s wheel as up and down large chippings, both on and off the pathways. 4)Took my husband`s car, thankfully. He squeezed through between 2 yellow markers. Could see no other clearly defined exit(?!!) No way would I have risked taking my Tesla MS through there..nor would I have mounted the kerb to ensure I made it through! 5) Barriers didn`t rise to allow us to leave. No number plate definition working. Three cars at the 3 barriers..all having problems. Out of car to ask what to do..early hours of the night. Not the ease of use we were lead to believe. Other drivers were all perplexed, too. Number-plate recognition not working?? We have always used Highwayman Parking. This was the first time we have used an on site car park at Cardiff. The Long Stay has potential and could be great BUT it needs someone who has some idea of what the parking /case portage/day/night arrival/departure and with a clear sense of directional signage.

I booked the airport parking at Cardiff Airport through Holiday Extras. No problems with Holiday Extras but, we will never travel through Cardiff Airport again. The long stay car park needs upgrading as the ground has not been tarmacced throughout. It is very hard to pull two heavy suitcases over rocks and cobbles. When we parked up at 5.45am they was no bus to take us to the terminal which, if we had been less able, it would have been horrendous.
