Once again number plate not recognised at the exit gate, had to get traffic behind me to bask up to allow me to free the gate then call for assistance. This has been the case on the last two trips.

Staff were great. Ticket machine ran out on entry and staff really put me at ease. Just connect at departure and we will deal with it. Excellent.

There didn’t seem many spaces when we got there in car park 2 at 3am in the morning. Had to go up to level 5 and not everyone is parked correctly. Eg slightly over 2 spaces. Spaces aren’t big either for someone with a larger car. On the way home and out is when I had a little scare. I put the ticket in the machine to exit the car park and it told me I had a £198 bill for 4 days! I had to call the car park security and then they let me out thankfully. But that gave me a panic. Other than that - close enough to the terminal and easy enough.

Very disappointed with the car parking situation. Our flight was delayed 3 hours and when leaving were made to pay £18 when cons the 11 days was only £125 that seems very excessive, as a result we will not be using again. Lounge was ok but very busy and food not the best quality and limited choice.

All went very smoothly thank you. Parking bays in Car Park 2 at Birmingham do not cater for modern sized cars, we noticed that many vehicles extended beyond the marked space and witnessed a driver having serious difficulty in exiting his vehicle as his doors would not open!

The Airport parking was very good no issues at all, but the VIP lounge No.1 was a disgrace. It was overcrowded, nowhere to sit, the choice of food was awful, no selection of hot food as described, very limited all there really was cheese & crackers absolutely disgraceful for the price that was paid. The staff were extremely rude, ask a question and they blew their cheeks out and huffed off to get what you had asked for. The lounge was dirty and a mess, the seating was all wrong and like I said we could not get a seat for a good while and wasted our time walking round looking for one. I would never use this facility again in Birmingham. The other airports we have used for the VIP lounge have been excellent but Birmingham's is a disgrace and something needs to be done about it, it needs a good revamp and more selection of food, hot & cold, not to cramp so many people in to it at one time and to have the staff trained for customer service. Very disappointing.

The car parking worked perfectly. The Hilton Garden hotel was great, excellent location, good food and excellent service. However the Ibis Styles was not located at the airport but over at the NEC, access wasn’t great and made all the more difficult by the security put in place for the Commonwealth Games. The security staff were rude in the extreme when we tried to return to the airport to collect our car. The hotel was basic, the food not bad by the carpet in the corridors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Would we use that hotel again, absolutely no.

Car Park 3 at Birmingham.. these car parks need to have Zone markings to help find your car on return. Other than that everything was fine

This is the third time of using HE for carparking and the second time for carpark 2 at BHX and both times when we have pulled up it has failed to recognise the number plate we have then followed the instructions to get a ticket for entry. When arriving back to pick up the car when pulling up at the barrier and inserting the ticket it wont lift the barrier up to let us exit and this time it was asking for over £700 as payment for parking so again we have followed the instructions and asked for assistance and after answering a few questions a very nice man then lifted the barrier for us without us having to make any other payments so if you could look into this as i like using HE to see if its a problem of either our making or something with your booking system

Car Park 2 at Birmingham is a nightmare. No markings on the car parking spaces, inadequate lighting and the ticket system produced a bill of £755 when I had already paid requiring assistance and more delay getting out, will never use again

Arrived at the car park, couldn't get I'm, ended up having to take a ticket to get in. Not good with young children in the car at 5am in the morning. Couldn't get out of the car park on way home, had to wait on hold to be manually let out. Again not good after travelling all day.

Price shot up £30 after I showed interest! Once I'd booked everything went smoothly until leaving the car park. On inserting my ticket it showed I needed to pay £538. Contacting assistance via button very quickly resolved the issue and we were on our way.

Car Park 2 is very convenient for the Terminal, closer than Car Park 1 which is often more expensive. Careful when you pull in though as you need the ANPR to read your numberplate rather than pressing for a ticket.

You charged extra for overstay which was entirely fault of airline delay and then no available transport from plane to terminal resulting in further delay.

Pulled car up recognised straight away brilliant put card In machine on exit brilliant. Sign post for car park could be better when tired with grumpy partner was difficult to notice them went round island a couple of times.

Make sure that the tickets issued when you arrive in the car park are recognised when leaving after a 7 day break - when putting the ticket in the machine it came up with a ridiculous price - I had to wait for some to answer the intercom- to tell them I’ve was prepaid / not much fun at 3am - also not enough disabled spaces

When I arrived at the gate, a ticket was displayed for me. However I rang the “help” button, explaining to the woman over the interphone that I had pre booked my stay. She did something, I took the ticket and when returning, the gate opened when I put the ticket through. I’m very happy with this experience!
