Improvements: outgoing trip - we found our driver quite quickly at the airport but then sat in the minibus for nearly one hour. Only two other people joined and that was in the first 20 mins. The driver seemed to think there was another passenger but there wasn’t. Great journey once we were on the road!
Return. I checked online (as specified) and went to the pick up point stated which was 300m from the hotel. This was fine but the driver went to the hotel and waited for us there - he called me and he found us ok, but this could have been avoided with better communication.

Service was perfect. However, customers should be aware of delays caused by EES at arrivals, as should the driver I guess, as ours had another booking quite soon after ours and may have missed it or not hung around for us (the Comms said they wait for an hour (I think) which we came inside, thankfully).

We found the transfer desk and an suv for four people was available. The other couple who were from Germany seemed irritated perhaps they had been waiting? However our BA fight had arrived on schedule and transfer of luggage hadn’t been delayed. We were the first drop in Las Palmas city and although we were dropped at the subsequent pick up point for our return transfer, the rain was very heavy and our hotel was at least 200 metres away. Fortunately we were repeating a holiday from last year so knew where too walk ! Ironically last year, our first visit to Las Palmas we were dropped off outside the hotel by a similar transfer vehicle also managed by the same Holiday xtras team. Last year the weather for our arrival was excellent and we did not get soaked as we did this year.

Flight delayed from UK by 1hr , driver was waiting for us with out any complaints . Booked personal transfer and expected a taxi but we had a minibus to ourselves driver helpful and dropped off at hotel door. Return journey very prompt driver was outside waiting for us 15mins before scheduled pick up swift transfer straight to airport. We were glad to be there earlier as delays getting through new passport system. Whole experience so much better than waiting on bus and dropping different people off at various hotels well worth the extra money

The transfers went well. I was a bit worried when I got the text informing me of my return transfer as the link to confirm wouldn't work. I phoned up and spoke to a chinese sounding woman who was nice but I wasn't sure she completely understood. Thankfully I got a text the day before confirming my transfer was going ahead at the confirmed location which it did. I always use holiday extras for return transfers abroad and theyve gone well.

Excellent on arrival driver waiting with named sign. Hotel pick up on return not good as a driver came into reception with our name on sheet. I showed him voucher he checked and took us to a minibus with 2 people already in.

Found the coach easily at the airport however due to the number of hotel stops took double the amount of time than it did compared to the last time. Journey from the hotel back to the airport was really quick- we should have probably left the hotel an hour later ( as were got to the airport 3 hours before our flight - check in opened an hour later, 2 hours before the flight).

Owing to late arrival at LasPalmas and chaotic passport control our driver was not at the meeting point. A call to the contact number and he was there in 3 minutes. Brilliant. Good: collection at end of holiday was on time and well organised.
Needs improvement: arrival at airport, long wait for coach. The driver did not have itinerary. He had to go round each customer writing down where they were staying, then he tried to work out route on Google maps. Nothing pre-planned. He didn't know where some accom was. He dropped one couple in wrong place (over a mile from their accom).
All took far too long and was stressful.

Have more choices of faster transfer using small busses or big coaches at low price. I found best transfers use smaller busses and there is less waiting time as there are fewer passengers to drop off. Unfortunately you only offer large coaches.

Communication from the day of booking to the end of my holiday was excellent. The only downside was the time it took from pick up at the airport to arriving at the resort, one bus was used to drop off clients at several resorts. I’ve used the coach supplier on many occasions and usually they provided a bus to go directly to the resort and drop off all the clients in various locations within the resort. The return trip was as expected with no issues. I would definitely use holiday extras again and would certainly recommend them to friends and family.

Good driver. Well presented and a pleasurable journey. His driving was steady and didn’t drive to fast like in previous encounters.
Driver wasn’t waiting with board with our name on. But we eventually found the Horizont board with our name on it directly outside of arrivals and made ourselves known to a lady there who called the driver. Which was no problem but nothing like the instructions you send out previous to landing. So I think as constructive criticism you could make this clearer on the information you send

Drivers were nice. However I booked this service so that I would be dropped off at reception not left at the top of the steep incline down to reception or have to walk back up it with my luggage on the return journey. Everyone else’s taxis drove them to and picked them up from reception.

Took us a while to identify our pickup driver. Incorrect name scribbled, in what looked like crayon, on an old piece of paper. Others had iPads or clearly defined names. He had to phone his office to confirm we were the people who had booked. He could not speak much English. He nearly dropped us off at the sister hotel until I told him. Also pick up to return was from the sister hotel so I had to get our hotel receptionist to phone them to correct the address. Not a smooth experience, especially the pick up on arrival.

The only problem was that we had no idea where to go to get transfer bus. The jet2 rep wasn’t very interested because we hadn’t booked a package. Eventually he must have felt sorry for us and told us to try window 19 which was exactly right and we were told vaguely where to go but it was only by luck we got to the right place. Also the transfer took hours in the dark and up and down hills. We felt ill by the time we reached our destination. The transfer back was very efficient and quick.

My transfer from the airport to the hotel was fine. We didn't have to wait very long to leave. My return transfer was ontime, however it was four hours before my flight departure time, which meant that I arrived at the airport two hours 45 minutes before departure, which was far too early. The pickup should have been at least 30 minutes later.

Arrived at Gran Canaria,due to no steps at aircraft,we started running late,got to baggage re claim,this took 30 mins,got a text and photo from our driver who said he only had a 45 minute window and he had to leave,rang him many times but no reply,rang another number but guy said he could not help me,stood around for about an hour and then decided to get a taxi which cost me 50 euros.Maybe there should be some way a driver could call his office when passengers are delayed and rearrange.

The return journey was great and driver arrived on time and communication and texts for pick up was great however the pick up from the airport wasn't great . It was by an old coach and more than 6 drop offs even though I paid the extra for less drop off. Plus had to put up with an annoying beeping all journey plus coach driver wasn't the friendliest and barely gave us time to get the other cases of the coach before he was back on n closing the luggage compartment.

Our driver was waiting for us when we landed and got straight off to our apartments the mini bus was very comfortable. We found this the best value option to get from the airport to Puerto de Mogan, quicker than the Global bus but much cheaper than a taxi. There was a bit of an unexpected wait at Las Palmas airport on arrival, and eventually we and another couple were taken in a taxi to our resorts. Returning, the minibus was on time at the pick-up point. It took a while to get through all the pickups on the way back to the motorway, but we got to the airport in plenty of time.

Being allocated our transfer vehicle on arrival proved very chaotic but eventually we were taken to our hotel by regular taxi together with two other travellers. Very cramped and uncomfortable journey. However the driver was very accommodating and got us to our hotel with no problem. Organisation of clients to buses seemed a bit chaotic on our arrival and we had to wait on our bus for around 20 mins but the drive was smooth and we were dropped right out side the entrance of our hotel.
On our return I received a text about the return time, also an email and our hotel reception were informed which was great information! We were picked up by a taxi at the agreed time as there had been a problem with our shared transport bus (not that we knew) and delivered to the airport terminal entrance without any problems.

The return pick was really good. Picked up on time and very organised and professional driver. On the other hand the travel from the airport was chaotic. We were directed to a pick up point and from their allocated transport. The people didn’t seem to know what they were doing . They kept ordering taxis on the spot. Nothing was organised. I have used HX several times. Hence why I put I would use you again. But unfortunately your service this time dropped well below your usual standard. I booked a transfer on 18/9. Confirmation fine. Then a week before travel your reminder email had a different pick up time. Thought this was sorted out via Chat. Although not straight forward. Only to find 3 Days before travel this was cancelled and a new booking sorted. Fair enough you didn’t leave us in no man’s land. But the first email I opened was the cancellation. Not until I read the others that followed did I realise I still had a transfer. Travelling hoping everything was going to be ok was a little unnerving. As this was travelling with a different company. We had to find the desk/driver and I wasn’t very impressed with the driver he drove far to fast. So if you continue to use this same company. I won’t use or recommend you. Sorry.

The transfer from the airport to the hotel was great. The driver was really friendly, the bus was small and modern with great air conditioning. He got me to my hotel really quickly. However the coach that came to collect me was old and knackered, it was uncomfortable, and the air conditioning did not work. To make it worse, we drove around for an hour picking people up and ended up almost back at my hotel. By the time I got to the airport I thought I was going to be sick and was absolutely soaked with body sweat. Really uncomfortable journey. The only reason I have scored you so highly is because of the first transfer on arrival.

Return trip to the airport was 40 mins late. It took over 10 mins for someone to answer the phone and then I was put on hold, the vehicle arrived before they got back to me. The vehicle was old and we wouldn’t have been surprised if it had broken down.

Arrived in LPA and went to desk specified and there was nobody there. After a 5min wait a girl appeared and looked at my booking on my phone and told me she didn't have it. She told me to try another desk, I refused as this was the correct office and she wrote a bus and stand number on my paperwork n that was it. The bus left exactly 88 mins after I got on it to begin transfer! The return journey email stated pick up at 1215 but to be there 15mins before (so 12) but when I logged onto system it showed pick up as 1155 (so 1140). To err on side of caution I was outside at 1140. At 1220 I hadn't been picked up and was concerned given no record of booking on arrival so I called the number given only to be told after quite some time on the call, that pick up was 1230!! The communication and organisation was awful. It wasn't expensive but it was very stressful.

The transfer both ways worked well eventually. However we had an issue on arrival as the bus driver said she was not prepared to drop us at our booked venue and instead she was going to drop us at “a bus stop five minutes up the road“.
I said this was not acceptable nor what was agreed and she became quite argumentative. I then spoke to a manager to try to override the decision as the driver was adamant she would not take us to our actual booked venue.In the end we were dropped appropriately but it wasn’t a great start to the holiday!

Pick up on outbound journey worked fine.
Return was a different story.
Only information for collection was that I the return was booked for 2 and half hours before plane departure. Taxi arrived 3 and 1/4 hours before and so we were still changing and final pack of worn clothes and so asked how to com back at the time informed. He said he couldn't and we would have to get taxi. We discussed further and he then agreed to return. He did not and so we were then forced to take taxi. As this meant we were now 30 minutes over time it added great stress to the end of a good holiday.
To avoid such issues it would be great to have a way of knowing what the local operator was confirmed as time and to have that either via app or via email, preferably, to ensure all are aligned on pick up time and not left to an assumption.

We booked the Courtyard by Marriot Glasgow Airport Hotel, which was lovely. Staff were very friendly, both at reception and in the restaurant. We ate and drank at the bar, food and drink were good. The only criticism is that there is no hotel shuttle bus and the taxi charged us £10 each way to literally drive us across a dual carriageway and around a roundabout but there is no footpath so you couldn't walk it. Not so worried about the cost but it would be fairly easy to remedy this and it might makre a difference to some travellers.

I couldn’t contact the local office at our holiday destination (Gran Canaria) to receive details of pick up time from hotel back to airport - no-one was answering calls despite repeated attempts. Although this was a hassle, the guy in the UK office did respond promptly and was able to get me sorted! This aspect of your airport transfer service is a bit clunky and hassled - perhaps the confirmed return pick up time could be texted or emailed to customers when confirmed, rather than customers all having to try and ring an office to find this information out?

Perfect pick up on arrival in a nice van to take us to hotel to start our holiday but on return it was 20 mins late so we panicked and when it arrived it was an old taxi that smelled of diesel oil

It was a bit chaotic at Gran Canaria airport and we had to wait approx 25 mins for our car. Sign for hoppa was very small and we nearly missed it. It would be helpful if you had the car make and registration so we can identify the driver

Transfers were excellent, waiting for us at the airport despite a flight delay and bang on time for hotel pick up on way back. Journey of 30 mins per transfer sure beats 2 hours on a regular transfer coach - and just us, no other passengers. Will certainly be doing it this way from here on in.
