Alternative Free Parking near Stansted Airport - Stansted Mountfitchet

Stansted Mountfitchet is a village located 3 miles away from Stansted airport and is easily accessible by train - it's a direct, 6-minute journey (via Greater Anglia). Stansted Mountfitchet has a couple of low-cost, short stay car parks to consider: Crafton Green Car Park and Lower Street Car Park. They're great options for anyone who thinks they might need longer than Stansted's 1 hour free parking at the Mid Stay car park.

Crafton Green car park and Lower Street car park charge for parking, however, at both car parks it's FREE outside the hours of 8am - 5pm and on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Blue Badge holders can park for free all day when displaying a valid badge.
