Five miles from the airport and five seconds from evening entertainment

The Britannia Ashley hotel Manchester airport is right in the centre of Hale, so simply entering the postcode into your GPS will get you there with no problems. There are a few car parking spaces directly outside the hotel entrance and plenty in the public pay and display car park at the rear. Just follow the side road past the entrance to find them.

If you’re arriving by car: For customers without GPS, leave the M56 at junction 6 and take the A538, following signs to Hale. Follow this road for about three miles. At the mini roundabout take the first left. Then, at the traffic lights take the first left. Go over the level crossing and the Britannia Ashley hotel is on the right after the traffic lights.

If you’re coming by public transport: Hale train station is just a three minute walk away on Victoria Road. For room only passengers, the hotel staff will arrange your free taxi to the airport at your request. On your return, call the hotel on 0845 838 1070 (calls cost 3 pence per minute plus your phone company's access charge) to be collected from the airport. The train leaves on the hour, every hour to Piccadilly Station in Central Manchester.
