1. The London Eye was created as part of the Millennium celebrations and was only meant to be a temporary 5-year attraction.
2. The London Eye has a total of 32 pods to represent each of London's boroughs. Each pod is numbered but number 13 was left out due to the superstition that it's unlucky.
