Overnight parking for a pittance
Park your car overnight at the rear of the Britannia Ashley hotel in the public, pay-and-display Cecil Road car park, which is protected by CCTV and security patrols. From 6pm to 8am, the car park is free, and a whole day’s stay is just £3!
After the night of your stay, you’ll need to move your car to the Country House Hotel. Take your luggage with you as you’ll catch the free transfer bus from this airport hotel to Manchester airport. The transfer bus comes every 45 minutes and takes 15 minutes to reach the Manchester John Lennon airport terminal building. A return ticket is just £5, and under 16s go free.
To get to the Country House Hotel: Head west onto Ashley Road towards Westfield Road. Turn right onto Lewis Road and then turn left onto North Road. Next, turn right onto Ashton New Road (A662), then turn left onto Alan Turing Way (A6010) and then onto Ashton Old Road (follow the A635). Next, turn left onto Mancunian Way and take the exit for the A5103. At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto Princess Road (A5103) and then turn left onto Barlow Moor Road. After half a mile turn right onto Palatine Road and you will see the Britannia Country House.

Overnight parking is available in a public car park next to the hotel for £4 per 24 hours.
Travelling by train? The hotel is around a 5-minute walk from Hale Railway station.
Getting from the hotel to the airport
The hotel can arrange a taxi to the terminal for you, which takes around 20 minutes to all terminals. It is available 24 hours a day and costs around £10 for a standard 4-seater car.
