Hop on the Hoppa to Heathrow
The Sheraton Heathrow is on the A4 and is easily accessible by both car and public transport. We got a taxi from the airport, which took all of five minutes.
By car: Like many Heathrow hotels, the Sheraton is on the A4, so it's very easy to get to from the M4 or the M25.
From the M4 westbound: Leave the motorway at junction 4 and turn right at the motorway roundabout, then left at the roundabout shortly after that. Go straight on under the motorway, and across two small roundabouts, then turn left at the third roundabout. At the T-junction, turn right onto the A4. You will see the hotel on the right.
From the M4 eastbound: Leave the motorway at junction 5 and turn right at the roundabout onto the A4 towards Hounslow and Staines. The hotel is three miles down the A4 on the left.
By public transport: You can get a train or a coach to any of the four terminals, then the Heathrow Hoppa bus to the hotel. Bus H4 runs from terminal 1 every 20 to 30 minutes between 4.44am and 11.28pm, leaving terminal 3 five minutes later. Bus H54 runs from terminal 4 every 20 to 30 minutes between 4.50am and 11.36pm, leaving terminal 5 ten minutes later. Tickets cost £4 single or £7 return if you buy them in advance, but £4.50 single and £8 return if you buy them from the driver. Up to two children under 15 can travel free with an adult. Or you can get a taxi, which will cost about £13.

Directions
From the East:
- Take the M4. Leave at junction 4 and turn right.
- Turn left at the first set of traffic lights.
- Go underneath the motorway and over two small roundabouts.
- Turn left at the third roundabout.
- Turn right onto the A4 at the next set of traffic lights.
- Take the first right and continue to the hotel.
From the North:
- Leave the M25 at junction 14 and turn left onto the A3113.
- Head towards terminal 4.
- At the next roundabout, turn left onto the A3044 towards Longford.
- Go straight on at the next roundabout.
- Turn right at the next set of traffic lights onto the A4.
- The hotel is half a mile down the road on the left.
From the West:
- Leave the M4 at junction 5 (Langley) and follow the signs for the A4 towards Hounslow and Staines.
- The hotel is three miles down the A4 on the left.
From the South:
- Leave the M25 at junction 14 and turn right onto the A3113. Head towards terminal 4.
- At the next roundabout, turn left onto the A3044 towards Longford.
- Go straight on at the next roundabout.
- Turn right at the next set of traffic lights onto the A4. The hotel is half a mile down the road on the left.
