The Sheraton Heathrow airport hotel is a beautifully presented, quietly luxurious four-star Heathrow hotel - where the staff go beyond the call of duty to make you feel comfortable. What sets this hotel apart isn't that it's supremely sophisticated or effortlessly elegant - though it is both those things - it's the down-to-earth, individual service.
If there's something you want while you're staying there the staff will do their best and then some to get it for you. There's a reason why so many of the hotel's guests are repeat customers who just keep coming back again and again - it's because they can hardly tell they're away from home.
Each and every room at the Sheraton at Heathrow has been beautifully styled and has a fresh new feel. Behind the hotel there's a wildlife park where you can go walking or cycling in fine weather; indoors, there's a compact 24-hour gym.

The food - - Resident chef, Lee Heaton, is a master hand at knowing what makes good food. This is the only Holiday Extras Heathrow airport hotel that serves Hereford beef, because Chef Heaton knows just how to do it the justice it deserves. The steaks here are exquisite! Plus, there's such a varied and delicious restaurant menu on offer that all that's left for you to do, is enjoy it.
The atmosphere - From the impressive exterior to the chic decor inside, the Sheraton at Heathrow exudes stylish modernity. The simple colour schemes, masculine design and ample soft furnishings ooze sophistication, while the quiet efficiency of the staff ensures a relaxed and calm environment for you to unwind in before your flight.
The rooms - We were very comfortable in our spacious, elegant standard double room, with its queen size bed, smart-TV, mini-fridge, armchair and coffee table. We could control the temperature, plus there was air conditioning if we got too hot, and a spare blanket in case we got cold at night. And the bathroom mirrors were heated, so didn't steam up after we had a shower - meaning we could still apply perfect makeup.

Getting to the airport
A taxi to the airport costs around £15 each way and takes 5 to 10 minutes. Or you can book a WeKnow electric shuttle in reception, from £9 per person each way.
Alternatively, the Heathrow Hoppa shuttle bus runs regularly during the airport's opening hours. Hoppa tickets cost £6 per person one way and £11 per person for a return. Up to two children under 15 travel free with a paying adult. Before you book, make sure to check the latest routes and timetables. Depending on your terminal, you may need to catch the Hoppa and then the free Heathrow Express between terminals.
Check in from 2pm, check out by 12 noon.
