Strikes
Widespread and general strikes in France on Tues Jan 31 disrupted airports and public transport. French unions are expected to strike again on Feb Tues 7 and Feb Sat 11.
The UK Border Force plans to strike on Feb 17-20 at ports including Dover, Dunkirk, Calais and the Eurotunnel in Coquelles, potentially further disrupting trips to and from France during the UK half-term.
Strikes at some Spanish airports will take place each Monday in February up to and including Feb 27. Please check with your airline for delays or disruptions to your travel pland for Spain.
FlyBe
FlyBe announced on Saturday Jan 28 that the airline was closing down, and cancelled all its flights. If your travel plans have been disrupted by FlyBe's closure and you have a booking with us, we're here to help.
By now you've probably made other arrangements for the trip you were planning to take with FlyBe. It's easy to change your extras with us too, and with Flextras you can make changes free of charge with a few clicks.
How to change your booking
- If you haven't already travelled you can make changes your booking.
- Take a look at what to do if you're away and need to change your parking.
How to cancel your booking
- If you haven't done so already, log in to your account.
- Look for 'Your trips and bookings'.
- Tap the booking you want to amend.
- Select 'Cancel Booking' from the list.
You can still follow this process if your booking is non-amendable or inside 24 hours of your arrival date, to arrange a cancellation invoice for a travel insurance claim.
