The Hotel food & staff can not be faulted. However, although situated opposite the airport the hotel has no viewing area to watch the planes, although you can see them landing from the front of the hotel which is located on a very busy road. There is no barrier security at the hotel. When we arrived the car park was full to over flowing, we were told its was because people had not returned to collect their cars. Someone from the hotel came out to find us a space & 'stood guard' of it whilst we retrieved our car, we weren't the only ones to have a parking issue. The hotel was very noisy, the pre-booked hoppa which runs every 30 mins did not turn up in the morning, apparently it had broken down. The hotel kindly booked us a taxi which we would have had to pay again for. The next hoppa (30 mins later) arrived before the taxi so we boarded only to find our hotel was the first pick-up.. it took a further 50 mins to get to the airport terminal, a journey which should've started 30 mins earlier & only meant to rake 15 mins! The driver was also unaware that the previous hoppa had broken down! The return hoppa service was just as bad, waiting nearly an hour for it to arrive. The worst park and stay experience we have ever had.

We stayed at the Mercury Hotel Heathrow on the 4th September for one night in a twin room. The room was filthy, you could not see the pattern or colour of the carpet through the stains and dirt, the radiator next to window was leaking onto the floor, the bathroom toilet handle was green, the bathroom door handle falling off and floor was filthy. To top it all Victor was bitten by bed bugs or fleas during the night and had to get up and shower at 3am to relieve the itching. He still had bite marks on his face and side of his body 6 days later. We have photos of the room and Victor’s bite. Totally unacceptable standard of health and safety hygiene. This hotel would have received zero as a score if it had been an option.

Had to have hotel changed at last minute which was an inconvenience but ok. Car parking remained as before which wasn’t initially clear. Sent to a Marriott which was very good. Ok dropping off car but a 20” wait for return of vehicle.

It's a premier in which I don't think needs much more explanation; it was clean the restaurant close by was okay but the problem was the car park. It does not have sufficient enough spaces to accommodate all guests and therefore is on a first come first serve basis which means that if the car park is full other guests were complaining that they were having to park on double yellow lines or some way away. However when I stayed, the car park was not policed their being no barrier reception telling me because it's a bank holiday weekend the operators were not working which when someone blocked a number of cars in and could not be traced led to a delay in getting to the airport which was not conducive to a good start to a holiday. On this alone I would not book this hotel again the risk of being blocked in and also not finding a car parking space is too high.

Lovely hotel and great service with huge car park at the rear, with the added advantage your car stays where you park it. Small expensive food menu in the bar, but McDonald’s just outside if you only want a quick bite to eat. Definitely book here when if we fly from Heathrow again

Very unhappy with the service we received, or more like lack of service! We booked a hotel with parking near T3 at Heathrow. After a long day at work and then a 2 and a half hour drive to Heathrow we arrived at the Novotel to find it full of immigrants! No one had informed us that this was the case and we had been moved to another hotel. When we arrived at the next hotel (Marriot Courtyard) I checked we had a booking for the parking as they didn't appear to have many parking spaces. The answer was no, I had to take my car back to the Novotel to park it while we were away! If you had contacted me to re-arrange the hotel I would have been quite happy but you made absolutely no attempt to let me know of the changes. Unlikely to use holiday Extras again.

This was as easy as it gets and overall great value. The only thing to add is that the car drop off (T3) is on the 4th floor of the short term car and the spiral access can become congested so give ample time.

Very pleased with the hotel and parking option. Had an early morning flight at T5 Heathrow and didn't want to leave my car too far from the airport. The hoppa bus or Pod serves the Thistle hotel and would definitely recommend.

We had an issue because our plane arrived late at night and all the trains were not working at that time so we had to take a taxi to the hotel. Otherwise the hotel was great, big room big bathroom super clean. The next morning it was very easy to get back to the airport. Definitely will recommend it.

We have been customers of yours for many years and I have always championed and recommended you to friends and family. I have also placed on social media my praise for how you have treated us in the past. However this last experience has not been good at all. We originally had a booking that we paid over £230 for a triple room hotel stay and parking. The hotel was then changed due to Crowne Plaza continuing with a government scheme. Thais was not your fault of course but you moved us to Renaissance. Despite numerous requests our booking was never updated to reflect this change and we were advised that the email you sent us would be sufficient. Even the day before travel we requested this to be updated as we did not want to arrive after a 3 hour drive to be told that there was no booking for us. The lady we spoke to on the chat function was very unsympathetic to our request. We arrived at Renaissance and there was no problem checking in but the third bed was a Childs bed and my 20 year old daughters feet were hanging off the bottom. By all accounts there were no other rooms available and so needless to say my daughter had a terrible nights sleep before then having a long flight the next day - not what we expect for £230!! Due to this and the customer service beforehand as made us consider options before booking with you again. Something we have not done for may years. When we needed to book airport hotels we did not consider anyone else

We booked the meet and greet, the car was picked up from the Crowne Plaza Heathrow Terminal 4 successfully. At the reception desk our booking couldn’t be found even when we showed the confirmation on our telephone we were not reassured that our booking would be accepted. The Customer Service from the hotel reception staff was appalling with no feedback to ourselves what so ever. We were left waiting for 45 minutes to then be told that they had booked us in. In morning at 5:00am a taxi was waiting and on checking out we were asked to pay the full cost of the room. We had to go through the whole scenario again with a new member of staff until it was resolved for the 2nd time. We would never book that hotel again.

Friendly welcome. Helpful staff. Small but adequate room with capsule bathroom. However, we had a ground floor room and were unwilling to open the bedroom window . The bed was right up under the window and without air-con the room was uncomfortably hot, so it was difficult to sleep. Very convenient for early check-in at T2.

It all went really well. We never arrived until late, but there was no problem with that. We was booked in by a good helpful team. The only little thing was there was no parking spaces left, so we had to park in the staff car park which caused a little bit of worry!! The return was all good as well. Holiday inn terminal 5 - Hotel ok, typical airport hotel, a lot further away from terminal 5 than we thought, but satisfactory. Meet and greet parking a disaster, I did not expect to have to wait more than 45 minutes for the staff to bring me my car, I was told, “just five minutes more” about six times. Staff not helpful at all, too busy playing on their phones, we seemed, as customers, to be an inconvenience to them. I would never book meet and greet again. It would have been quicker to use the long stay parking.

The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, accommodation and dinner very good. The car was still in good condition when we collected it after two weeks in the hotel car park. The only down downside was that the airport shuttle bus does not call there.

The directions to the hotel the night before were not clear/correct. It eventually took 45 minutes from the M25 and had to switch on mobile date on the phone and use google maps. The drive to the Airport , which was not on the booking form took approx 15mins and used a different M25 exit.
