Enjoy a sense of adventure on your Benidorm trip

Benidorm Paragliding Adventure

Benidorm is an extremely flexible city. On the one hand, it's ideal for people that want to relax on beautiful beaches and top up suntans while occasionally splashing around in the warm Mediterranean waters. On the other hand, this popular Costa Blanca destination provides almost endless opportunities for adrenaline junkies. Before your Benidorm exploits begin, make sure you've booked your airport transfers with Holiday Extras. We offer a hassle-free shuttle service to pick you up from the airport and take you directly to your accommodation.

Aquatic antics

It'll come as no surprise for you to learn that Benidorm offers plenty of water-based activities. For instance, you might like to rent a jet ski to enjoy some full-throttle fun. Or, how about cable skiing? It's not necessarily very easy to master but once you get to grips with it, it's a complete blast. Something a little more sedate that requires a certain amount of upper-arm strength is kayaking, and with a group of friends, competition can be fierce.

What lies beneath

Sure, it's fun spending time on top of the sea but no visit to this part of the world is complete without exploring the world below. The easiest and cheapest way to do so is with a snorkel but if you want a more sustained sub-aqua experience, scuba diving is a must. Once you're kitted out, who knows what you might encounter? There's every chance you'll see bream, eels, lobsters, tentacled creatures such as squid and octopi and more besides.

Terra firma

There are many ways to get around on land, whether it's on two wheels or four. An exploration of the Costa Blanca's craggy, elevated terrain is rather good when riding a mountain bike, for example. Alternatively, you might like to sample some off-road excitement on a quad bike, or aboard a virtually unstoppable 4x4.

Onwards and upwards

There's nothing that quite matches the white-knuckle tension of rock climbing. If you're game, head roughly 12 miles north of the city to Puig Campana. Here you'll discover Alicante's second highest peak, which has an altitude of a little more than 1,400 metres. There are more than 30 different ways to ascend to the summit, which will you choose?

Sky's the limit

One of the most exciting ways to see Benidorm is by paragliding. Not only does it provide unrivalled views of this part of Costa Blanca, it gives a sense of what it feels like to be a bird soaring high and free.

At Holiday Extras, we offer a welcome, if more sedate, form of travel to your destination with our Benidorm airport transfers. From shared shuttles, to private cars and minibuses, we will get you to your resort both quickly and in comfort.
