Benidorm isn't just about the beaches (although they're lovely), it's absolutely jam-packed with plenty of other attractions to keep you busy during your holiday. Whether you're looking a fun-filled family day out or a classy, cultured affair; there will be something on this list to fit the bill for you! Don't worry though; we still cover the beautiful Benidorm beaches too!

Family Friendly Theme Parks
Aqualandia
This popular water park is great fun for all the family with a range of slides and water-themed areas to cater for any level of bravery. There with the littlest of your little ones? Simply enjoy the water in the Grand Jacuzzi. If you're more of an adrenaline junkie see if you can cope with the almost sheer drop of Verti-Go; a 33 metre plummet down the highest slide in Europe! The park opens from the end of May until the end of September.

Top Tip: The food at Aqualandia is a little expensive. You are more than welcome to take your own food and there are plenty of picnic areas, but the park doesn't allow anything in glass containers or cans.
Mundomar
Right next to Benidorm's popular Aqualandia water park, Mundomar is a marine animal park with a tropical theme. Make your Benidorm holiday all the more memorable by hanging out with the dolphins and swimming with the sea lions. As well as watery friends there's a variety of other animals to enjoy including meerkats, monkeys and turtles, a truly great day out for the family.

MundoMar is the sister park to Aqualandia and has the same view on bringing food into the park - you are more than welcome to do so, but avoid glasses and cans. Aside from the delightful picnic areas there are restaurants in the park, but again, the prices may be a little high.
Terra Mitica
A fun theme park for all the family which has been divided into 5 different zones - Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia and The Islands. Enjoy an amusement park with a historical theme and plenty of rides and shows to keep you entertained. Terra Mitica is a great place to spend the day with the family!

Benidorm Circus
This all-year-round circus has a permanent place in Benidorm and features some of the best and most modern circuses from around the world. Marvel at acrobats, jugglers, magicians and comedians all at the height of their craft.

Terra Natura
Spend the day at Terra Natura, a delightful Zoo close to Benidorm where you can come face to face with the animals thanks to non-intrusive barriers. This large park is split into 4 areas, Pangea, America, Europe and Asia so that you can see wonderful animals from around the world.
Festilandia
This amusement park is full of traditional rides and amusements making it great fun for kids but also a walk down memory lane for adults. Enjoy simple rides and the redemption games in this old-style amusement park close to Benidorm. When you arrive you can buy a top-up card which stores virtual tickets that you'll need for the rides, and can be easily reloaded if you want to enjoy more of the attractions.
Benidorm Palace
Looking for a Vegas-style evening to celebrate your holiday? You've come to the right place. Enjoy the colourful and spectacular show at the Benidorm Palace featuring dancing, acrobats, magicians and jugglers at the heights of their profession. You can even decide to enjoy a delicious meal alongside the entertainment - dinner and a show? Absolutely!

Historic Sites
Church of St James & St Anne
The Church of St James and St Anne is a Catholic church dating back to the 1700s and still in use today. While the outside of the church is fairly unassuming the inside is absolutely beautiful and the views from outside are stunning.
Tossal de la Cala
It's a bit of a hike up to this viewpoint but it's worth it when you get here. There are the outlines of an old Roman encampment as well as excellent views of the beaches below. A peaceful place for a spot of lunch while you take in the vistas perhaps.
Local Museums
The House Museum (Casa Museo de Benidorm)
This museum is situated in the centre of Benidorm and features impressive and architecture in its own right. Inside you'll find a range of historic paintings and sculptures as well as seasonal exhibits. Admission is free but do be aware that the House Museum is only open in the evenings.
Agricultural Museum (Museo De Agricola)
Open daily and with free admission the agricultural museum has a host of historic tools and equipment from a bygone era of farming. There's even a water mill with a water wheel and some fine examples of old horse-drawn ploughs.
Museo Municipal de la Boca del Calvari
This museum is part history of the area, part art gallery with a wide variety of exhibits to keep you interested. Entry is free and the museum sometimes has special exhibits on.
Beauty Spots
Balcón del Mediterráneo
This vantage point sits on a rocky outcrop on the site of an old castle and commands wonderful views of the nearby beaches.
Aigüera Park
This delightful, neoclassical park has landscaped grounds and 2 amphitheaters making it the perfect place for a picnic in the sun while you're exploring Benidorm. If you're lucky there might be some sort of event as the park is often home to open air concerts amongst other entertainments.
Elche Park
A small but very pleasant park close to the beach, Elche Park is a great place to sit if you just need a quick break from it all. Enjoy the sound of the fountain and the shade offered by the palm trees while you relax on a bench and watch the world go by for a bit.
Benidorm Island
Why not catch a boat out to Benidorm Island? This small island is home to a nature reserve, some beautiful hikes and you can even book a glass-bottomed boat excursion.
La Creu
La Crue refers a large cross near Benidorm and while the hike up to the hilltop where it's situated is quite long walk, the breathtaking views along the route and at the top are well worth the effort. We would advise you take some water with you as there aren't any shops along the way and wear good shoes as the last section is a dirt trail.
Serra Gelada
The Serra Gelada is a mountain and marine conservation area covering nearly 14,000 acres and best explored by either boat of hiking. This area of outstanding beauty is full of gorgeous vistas, long walks and some mountain climbing spots.
Caelobre Caves
The caves are around a 45 minute drive from Benidorm and are home to an impressive array of rock formations including beautiful stalactites, stalagmites and columns. Due to the excellent acoustics that these caves offer, concerts are often held there providing a truly magical experience.

Beaches
Playa Poniente
A little further out from the town centre the Playa Poniente is a beautiful beach with stunning views. It can get quite busy during the summer months.
Playa de Levante
This beach is particularly popular with sunbathers and is located next to a promenade with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants; everything you need to spend the entire day on the beach.
Playa de Ponent
This beach offers the best of both worlds with views of the skyscrapers of Benidorm as well the rocks of Benidorm Island. The sandy shores lead into shallow water which is perfect for a quick paddle.
Playa de Mal Pas
The Playa de Mal Pas is a small, sheltered and sandy inlet with access to a promenade and foot showers.
