Parking at the Heathrow Thistle Terminal 5
The Heathrow Thistle offers two parking packages, and some cost little more than a room-only option, so are certainly well worth a look. Park, sleep and fly with ease.
Thistle T5 room-only procedures
On the day of your stay
Make your way to the hotel. Directions and a postcode for satnavs will be on your confirmation.
Overnight parking is available for £18 per car if you need it.
Getting from the hotel to the airport
Take one of the hotel's driverless pods to the terminal. An excellent, environmentally conscious option for a quick 5-minute journey to Terminal 5. It costs £8 per person each way, from 4am to 12.15am. These pods exclusively connect Terminal 5 with the Thistle Hotel.
Need to get to another terminal? Once you're at Terminal 5, take the free Heathrow Express to reach your terminal.
Alternatively, the hotel can arrange a taxi to take you to the terminal. A taxi costs between £12 and £20 and takes 10 to 20 minutes depending on which terminal you're flying from.
Thistle T5 with parking at Long Stay T2 and 3
Drive to the hotel - your confirmation will include directions and a postcode for sat navs. Overnight parking is included in the price.
Getting from the hotel to the airport:
1. Drive to Long Stay T2 and T3. Directions to the car park are given in your confirmation. You should give yourself at least 40 minutes to drive to the car park, park your car and catch the transfer bus to the terminal.
2. When you arrive at the car park, take a ticket from the machine at the barrier, then drive in and park your car.
3. Then make your way to the bus stop and catch the transfer bus to the terminal.
4. Transfers run when needed between 23:00 and 04:00. The bus runs every 10 minutes and takes just 10 minutes - and the best thing is, it's included in the price.
Coming home:
- You need to get back to the car park by bus.
- Call the car park and let them know which terminal you are at, along with your bus stop number and which car park you require.
- When you get back, collect your car, then drive to the exit barrier, insert your ticket and wait for it to lift.
- Drive out the barrier and head home.

Very good range of hotels near Heathrow from which to chose. Hotel with term parking an excellent service.

Thistle T5
Very pleased with the hotel and parking option. Had an early morning flight at T5 Heathrow and didn't want to leave my car too far from the airport. The hoppa bus or Pod serves the Thistle hotel and would definitely recommend.

Hilton T5
Simple booking process with simple follow-on instructions. Hotel in great location with a 10minute direct coach transfer to Heathrow T5. I couldn't fault any part of the process from departure, to return, for car collection.

The hotel and car parking was excellent, had a really nice steak at the hotel restaurant. The only problem we had was the hoppa bus, we had to wait two hours at Heathrow airport for the return trip to the hotel.
