Everything went smoothly. However, the feedback is - and this is every single visit - there is no real time to check out which letter is the open zone before being immediately confronted with which direction to drive (left or round to the right) and if there is a car right behind you it can feel pressured. I wish the open zone direction was immediately obvious.

Viewing weather forecast for early hours of 11 January morning I contacted HX to change arrival at Stansted carpark to evening 10 January and was told I couldn't and was given a number to call for Stansted airport parking. I phoned but was only a series of messages which ultimately said as I had booked thru a third party (i.e. holiday extras) I must contact the third party to change. Would have been nice to have been given a contact number for Stansted airport parking that was actually manned by a person rather than a recorded loop.

There were not enough spaces in allocated parking area so I had to use neighbouring placement.
The parking IT had no information about my entry so exit check barrier scanner wanted to take full charge for last 48hrs, I had to speak to staff member. Thanks to easy access to confirmation and reference number on HolidayExtras app my prepaid fee was accepted and I could leave SSBP without further problem.

We use Holiday Extras to book M&G parking twice a year, usually at Stansted. The booking process is easy, the price competitive and there are usually discount offers. Their app is helpful, too.There can still be a bit of walking to do at the airport but it's quick and stress-free when you're rushing to get there and then just want to get home.

I have used all the short stay car parks. My preference would be Red short stay but if you’re ok with a short stretch of the legs you will be fine. A tip! Note the colour and number/name of bay you park in.

The Long Stay parking at Stansted was well signposted. It was a frosty morning and the bus driver kindly waited while we walked gingerly across the car park to the bus. Returning, the bus arrived within minutes of our reaching the stop. Good service.

The valet parking is disabled and we parked away from the Stansted meet and greet hut.
Customers should be advised its OK to park in the disabled bays on arrival. This would be appreciated.

Quiet a lot of spaces available and only a fairly short walk away from the terminal.
Be aware that the carpark uses different coloured signs for their areas, so there's multiple signs with the same row number, that use a different colour background to the signs to differentiate - sounds obvious, but the two blues are quite similar in the dark!!

We were very lucky with our timings in regards to the buses both for departure and arrival as we didn't have to stand and wait in the cold, and we were lucky to all get seats on the bus both ways too! I know this has coloured our experience favourably and next time may be very different. Having booked the short stay which is within walking distance of the terminal, I would probably still look to do this next time but only if the price is reasonable, and now having tried the mid stay I know it is a good backup.

My only shock was after a mistake I had made with the timing of my return flight, which was out by several hours, I was charged an extra £67!!! This represented some 70% of the original price for parking.
It felt unreasonable and greedy in that way that low budget airlines … not mentioning any in particular, can sting one for a minor transgression.

Easy to locate the car park as the app provides sat nav directions. The bus service to the airport was faultless and took just a few minutes. Barrier entrance and exit work electronically thanks to vehicle recognition and lots of parking spaces. Had to wait for about five minutes to get the bus back to the car park. The barrier always recognises the car and opens on arrival - it's under cover so no problems getting cases out of the car in the rain, and exiting is always simple too. The booking process is simple, and we get to keep our keys, so know our car is safe.

The only downside, as is the same with all airport car parks, is the cost. I paid just as much for 5 days parking as I did for my flights.

The whole process was very easy. For the first time we were able to get a disabled parking space. I just pressed the button and the bus came along within a minute or two. The lady driver was extremely pleasant and helpful taking us to the airport and the driver delivering us back to our car helped us off with our case. We were very grateful, thank you. I was worried I might have problems as our flight was delayed by 1.5 hours because of the fog, but the barrier lifted as soon as we approached.

It is so easy to book parking with Holiday Extras. Different prices for different car parks clearly displayed, letting you book the one most suitable for you. The blue carpark is only a short walk to the terminal. Just take the ticket as you drive into the car park but when you exit, the barrier does lift up, once the camera has noted your number plate. All very straightforward and easy. Would definitely use again!

I didn’t book any insurance against a late return so expected I would have to pay a sur charge . Being delayed by 4 hrs and getting to the red car park at 0200 Stansted next morning ,when booked until 2200 , I was delighted that the barrier went up and no charge levied . Reading the t&c I see there is a discretionary 6 hr waiver . Great to have this and will make me book again if this is the norm when it’s outside of my control (fog) Thankyou ????

Vehicle had to be parked a distance from the Reception Office.

We actually had a dead battery on our arrival back to the car park and upon reporting to the attendant via the ticket machine, they sent a couple of guys within 10 mins who promptly and with a friendly attitude,bump started the car , fantastic service and would highly recommended

The terms and conditions outlined under the confirmation receipt were overruled by Stansted Airport. This is misleading as the terms and conditions through Holiday Extras state the charge for up to 24 hours above your original end date/time is £25, I was forced to pay £45. I also tried to contact Holiday Extras and Stansted Airport parking customer service services five days prior and the number advertised on Holiday Extras asks you to email Stansted Airport parking. I did this and had no response after five days and followed up on my query and still have not had a reply. There must be an option for a customer to contact the company to resolve this issue in advance. This is clearly a poor user experience.

I used the green multi storey park on entry into the car park I had to take a ticket from the side before the barrier would lift. I thought it worked with number plate recognition.
The car park is well signed with big parking spaces , short walk to the terminal with covered walkway but open sides. To exit the car park I didn’t need to use the ticket the barrier opened on plate recognition…. I would definitely use the car park again .

Although this is a meet and greet service it is slightly different to some other places in that you don’t just arrive and give your keys to their representative but due to the layout at the airport it is still easy to do. You just park in one of their dedicated lanes and take your keys to the reception desk which is close by before then walking into the terminal. On your return you also have to go to the reception to collect your keys and be told where your car is parked, which although it is still close by, if you have an elderly person with you there is a degree of walking further than with other meet and greet services where the car is brought to you. However there isn’t really anything that can be done to improve this at Stansted as there is no other access that would get you closer to the terminal.

I have used you several times before.
I tried to book using a Vouchure credit I have but I couldn't through the app as I kept getting an error message.
After a very long winded effort getting to chat then eventually speaking to a human. They sent me a link to book using my credit Vouchure. I used it and it took the payment from my credit card. I then gave up.
I gave you 10 for the service.
But you seriously need to improve your customer service so you can speak to a person preferably by phone.
I will be using you to book hotel and parking for my holiday in February but I need to use my Vouchure. If it goes wrong again I will use someone else and tell everyone I know how awful your customer service is.

The process of booking and there was no issue with the actual parking. However the number plate recognition didn't work on arrival or as we left. So we had to wait at both ends until the parking was validated.
I appreciate that's not the issue of Holiday Extras, however it would be useful to pass on to the carpark operators so they are aware that their systems don't work as intended.

The long stay car park return service was very poor. Apparently the normal pick up point had changed but there was no signs on the normal collection point. Bus went straight pass us even thro there was no traffic and space for him to stop. He just laughed at us!
This was at 1am in freezing conditions.
The terminal was shut and we were ushered out a side entrance so the small that were in place were facing wrong way and useless.
Very poor, I hope the driver enjoyed his laugh!

A straightforward operation even though I messed up a bit and took a ticket - when it clearly says do not press the button as you enter the car park and do not take a ticket- the exit was easy as number plate recognition opened the barrier. Happy days. Stress free. I would however emphasise that the ‘cheaper rate’ was NOT refundable or transferable so buyer beware - use it or loose it!!

Arrived at the allotted time, waited while they took pictures, parked the car, handed in the keys and was in the terminal within 5 minutes. Had no idea what we were supposed to do when we returned but you insert your ticket in the play machine and I guess by number plate recognition it knows you’ve pre paid. We parked in Orange at Stansted airport which couldn’t have been closer. The car park was already busy but we found a space easily with a very short walk to the terminal. On return it was Storm Bert which meant flight delays leading to huge crowds looking for a bus to the car parks, but we just strolled to the car and off we went. Well worth the little extra for the convenience.

This car park was a shambles. No bus stops open we had to walk around all bus stops then finally had to call for help. We rang through 3 times each time we were promised a bus was coming to get us.
