Fire at Luton Airport Terminal Car Park 2
Late in the evening of Tuesday 10th October a fire broke out at Luton Airport Terminal Car Park 2.
All flights to and from Luton Airport were suspended until 3pm on Wednesday 11th October. Access to the airport has now resumed and flights are taking off and landing, but there are knock-on disruptions and delays from the long closure of the airport and passengers are advised to check with their airline before setting off to the airport.

Holiday Extras does not store cars at Terminal Car Park 2
We do not store any cars at the car park directly affected. If your car is parked with us at Luton, it is parked securely at an off-site car park and should not have been directly affected by the fire.

If you were due to fly from Luton Airport
The airport is open today, with some disruptions to the surrounding roads and knock-on delays to some flights. Please check with your airline before setting off to the airport and allow extra time for your journey.
As the airport works to restore normal service, the collection and drop-off points for Meet and Greet customers could change at short notice. Please follow the instructions below to make sure you can drop off or collect your vehicle.
If you were due to fly home to Luton Airport
If you were due to fly home to Luton on Tuesday or Wednesday it is possible your flight was delayed, cancelled or diverted to another airport.
If you've already parked your car and discovered that your flight is no longer running please contact us for a refund.

If you have a parking booking with us, there are some changes to how and where you'll drop off or return to your car. Please see details below.
Your meeting/drop off point may change as the airport work to restore normal service, therefore it is vital to call ahead to confirm this with the car park.
Airparks Drop and Go is operating a bus transfer every 20 minutes from the car park to the terminal as normal.
Blue Circle (including Park Up) asks returning customers to contact them using the details on the card they were given when they dropped their car off, or call them on 07872 186512 or 07872 186523.
Maple Manor (including Airparks Meet & Greet, Holiday Extras Meet & Greet and Purple Parking Meet & Greet) asks customers to contact them using the details on the card they were given when they dropped their car off, or call them on 01582 825656.
