Is there disabled parking at Heathrow Airport?

Yes, Heathrow Airport offers a variety of disabled parking options across all four of its terminals, ensuring access for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility. There are designated Blue Badge parking bays in car parks, including the long-stay and short-stay car parks.

Short-stay is located right next to the terminals and offers clearly signed blue badge disabled parking bays close to the entrances. Heathrow's Long Stay car parks for Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5 also have disabled parking spaces. These car parks also have free shuttle buses that are wheelchair accessible and run regularly between the car parks and the terminals.

There are also blue badge spaces available in Business Parking close to the bus stops or admin offices as well as various off-airport car parks. Please be aware, if you wish to park in blue badge space but take your badge abroad, you will need to show your badge to the car park operator.

Holiday Extras offers a range of Heathrow Airport Parking services with disabled parking options. Our Meet and Greet services are the most convenient option as they eliminate the need for transferring from the car park to the terminals. Instead customers can drive straight to the terminal where a driver will meet you and park your car in a secure location. Popular Meet and Greet parking services include Maple Parking Meet and Greet, and Purple Parking Meet and Greet available at each terminal.

Alternatively, providers including Purple Parking Park and Ride are accessible for disabled passengers, provide complimentary shuttle buses and are a cheaper option.

For passengers with disabilities, Heathrow provides assistance services, and it's advisable to pre-book these services in advance. There is no long term free disabled parking available at Heathrow and parking is subject to the usual parking charges. If you're a blue badge holder, you can, however, apply for a 100% discount on the terminal drop-off charge. Additionally, the first 2 hours of parking are free of charge for Blue Badge holders in Heathrow's Long Stay car parks.
