Larger or commercial vehicle? The car park has changed its terms and conditions meaning that some larger vehicles are no longer accepted. Please read below for full details on whether the car park will accept your vehicle.
Purple Parking is the closest off-airport car park at Heathrow, and it's one of the best priced. Plus it takes no longer than 15 minutes to reach the terminal on the regular shuttle bus, which is included in the price.
The Purple Parking team has introduced a whole host of measures designed to make your journey as safe and contact-free as possible.
When you arrive you'll need to make sure you're wearing a mask and keep it on while you're at the car park and on the bus. The buses won't be running as regularly as usual, so we recommend allowing plenty of extra time to get to and from the airport. There are signs to encourage social distancing and perspex screens at the check-in desk.
There's hand sanitiser for you to use and everything at the car park is cleaned regularly. When you get back to your car the steering wheel, gear stick, drivers door handles (inside and out) and car key will have been sanitised. They'll also give you wipes to use.

Everything was excellent when we got there and went smoothly in terms of the actual carpark & service, but the directions to the car park were DREADFUL. We used the directions on the app and were directed to a totally random incorrect car park, we then used the written directions on the email link which led us into Hounslow town centre, and then we used google maps and they led us almost all the way but we only found Purple Parking by complete luck as I noticed it whilst we were almost driving the wrong way again! Each time we were redirected by Holiday Extras directions 15-20 odd minutes were added onto our journey and we were really really flustered, not knowing where we were or if we'd ever find the correct parking place. We arrived for our flight 2 hours early and we genuinely almost missed it through bad directions alone. In the end, after getting the bus from Purple Parking to Heathrow T5 we had just over 45 minutes spare to drop our bags, go through security and run straight to our gate. You definitely need to sort these directions out. Arriving at Heathrow not having any landmarks to drive to or clear/correct directions to follow made us really flustered and late. And naturally we would follow the instructions on the app before consulting Google, but these were very very wrong.Ms Vigour (Purple Parking)
