Cancelling a booking

How to cancel your booking

  1. If you haven't done so already, log in to your account.
  2. Look for 'Your trips and bookings'.
  3. Tap the booking you want to cancel.
  4. Select 'Cancel Booking' from the list.

You can still follow this process if your booking is non-flexible or inside 24 hours of your arrival date, to arrange a cancellation invoice for a travel insurance claim.

What happens then?

Depending on the type of booking you have and when you booked you'll be issued a voucher which can be used on a future booking with Holiday Extras. Your voucher will stay in your account and you'll get an email with all the details.

What can and can't be cancelled

If you have a Free Cancellation booking and want to cancel within 7 days of booking you'll be given a voucher which you can exchange for a full refund within 14 days.

If you need to cancel after 7 days you'll get the full amount back as a voucher which can also be exchanged for a cash refund within 14 days, less £10 – we'll save this amount to your account to use on your next booking.

You must cancel your booking by midnight on the day before your booking is due to start to exchange your voucher for a cash refund.

Saver bookings can be cancelled for a voucher but you can't change dates or times. If you need to change your booking you'll need to cancel, which will give you a voucher to book the same product for the new dates. You must cancel by midnight on the day before your booking is due to start.

Can't cancel or amend bookings can't be changed or cancelled, and we can't give any voucher or refund. You'll still be able to change details like your name or car reg in a few clicks.
