Tastily-good value around the clock

You won't find gourmet meals or fancy fare at the Ibis, but you will find dependable dishes that are available around the clock.

Fogg's Cafe: a restaurant that never sleeps

  • Menu

From midday to 10pm, you can head down to Fogg's Cafe bar and restaurant and order from its full menu - all mains cost under £11. There are some lovely starters and nibbles to tempt your taste buds, including tempura king prawns, garlic bread, soup of the day or hot bourbon chicken wings. Or for something a little more filling, you could tuck into fish and chips, toad in the hole, Aberdeen Angus beefburger or gammon steak with salad, chips and pineapple. Not forgetting dessert, of course: ponder over chocolate fudge cake, vanilla cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding or fruit salad.

The hotel's all day, all night menu offers artisan breads and soup as a light course, and more substantial dishes including curry of the day, 12-inch deep-pan pizzas, and jacket potatoes with a choice of one or two toppings.

Breakfast

The Ibis' all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast, which costs £7.50, is a good way to get some much-needed fuel for the day ahead. You can munch on all the classic cooked items like bacon, sausages, eggs, beans, hash browns and tomatoes, and fill your bowl with as many cornflakes, rice crispies and bran flakes as you please. There's also a tasty selection of pastries, some condiments for toast and bowls of fresh fruit, as well as juices, coffee and tea to wash it all down with.
