Life Before HX
In the early stages of her career, Margaret Rice-Jones worked as a design engineer and product manager before transitioning into general management. Her executive experience includes serving as CEO of Aircom International, a UK-based global software and services company, and as Corporate Vice President of Motorola Inc., both within the mobile communications industry. Over the past 25 years, she has defined and executed winning strategies in mobile telecommunications and high-growth technology markets, leading organizations with revenues ranging from £50 million to over $1 billion.
Margaret has also chaired three privately-backed companies to successful exits, including Skyscanner, the travel comparison site that was sold for £1.4 billion. Currently, she holds the positions of Chair at Origami Energy and CTRLio and serves as the Senior Independent Director at Xaar PLC, a FTSE-listed printing technology company. Margaret Rice-Jones graduated with a BSc in Engineering from Durham University.
In 2015 Margaret was listed as one of the 100 most influential women shaping tech innovation.
Life outside Holiday Extras
I enjoy playing golf, travelling to learn about new places and time with my family, including two boys who have now left home for London.
