We are here to help

Our team is ready to help in any way we can - the easiest way to reach us is by live chat (check our opening times). Or if something has gone wrong and you'd like to give us some feedback, get in touch with our dedicated customer team and we'll look into it for you.

We've worked hard on our flexibility and introduced FLEXTRAS - if you buy your holiday extras from Holiday Extras, you'll be getting the most flexible terms anywhere. We're also investing heavily in our app with a big focus on HEHA! - The Holiday Extras Holiday Assistant which makes it even easier and even faster to search, book and save.

You're welcome to email me about anything at all - ideas, suggestions and feedback. I read every email and will make sure your query is swiftly actioned with the right people. If needed I'll follow up in person too.

Thanks for choosing Holiday Extras. Wishing you safe and happy travels.

My team focuses on contracting products from our supply partners to ensure we have the breadth and scale of products to meet our customers' needs. It is essential that our partners provide the highest standards and help us to deliver less hassle and more holiday for our customers.

My journey so far

My first experience of the travel industry was during a placement year as part of my Business Studies degree, working for the airline Air UK at Stansted Airport. I joined Lloyds Register after leaving university and I think this only served to convince me I wanted to be involved in travel!

As a consequence, I have spent the majority of my working life in travel and feel grateful to have been involved in such a special industry and witnessed the changes over time. I started my career in tour operating, heading up teams at Thomas Cook and TUI involved in pricing and yield, managing the full range of package holidays sold. I felt the draw of the internet and moved to online travel agent, Opodo, where I was responsible for the supply of flight packages, accommodation, ground transportation and cruise in the UK.

Once Opodo was acquired by edreams Odigeo I took on a global role and was responsible for the overall strategy of such products. Having seriously considered moving to Barcelona to work at the edreams Odigeo head office, I joined Holiday Extras in 2016 to experience a different sector of the travel industry with a company which had a strong track record of growth, ambitious plans for the future, an inspiring culture and fantastic people.

Life outside Holiday Extras

Dan Rowe

At the moment I'm based in Sevenoaks. I like to keep active and on a regular basis enjoy cycling, running, football and skiing. I have my Advanced PADI qualification and have been lucky enough to dive in some amazing countries around the world. One of the highlights being the Whale Sharks of Mozambique.

I'm always up for a challenge regardless of its nature. Although time for such opportunities was more prevalent before children! I would say climbing Kilimanjaro, 'completing' the highest bungee jump in the world (at the time), cycling Mont Ventoux and the London Marathon are some standout memories.

Life is also busy being part of a blended family but a lot of fun! I have two boys and my partner, Jo, also has two boys so we are pretty busy providing the taxi service to various school, sport and social clubs. However we are a ready-made 6 a side football team when required!

What's your favourite place and why?

Although there could be so many answers for many reasons, my overall favourite place has to be New Zealand. A relatively small place which packs itself with an amazing amount of beauty, wonder and exciting experiences which can only usually be found by visiting multiple countries. It truly is a magical place. I also have a soft spot for Barcelona having visited and stayed there many times for work.
