We're Here to Help All Customers Affected by Delays and Cancellations Due to Air Traffic Control Issues.
Air traffic control issues causing significant delays at UK airports
We recognise the challenges that all travellers, including many of our customers, are experiencing due to Monday's air traffic control issues. We're here to help wherever we can and we'll keep this page current with the most recent updates.
As always, we encourage customers that are due to travel soon to contact their airline or tour operator to double check the situation. We've added some useful links at the bottom of the page.
Customers Due to Travel
Customers with Flextras: Free cancellations bookings can cancel any time up to the booked day and time of travel if required. You'll be issued with a flexible voucher that you can use to rebook once you have your new flight details
Flextras: Saver customers can cancel for a voucher that you can use to book the same product again once your new flights are confirmed.
We encourage you to use our online amends system to change dates, times, terminals, parking options, as well as cancelling your booking if necessary.
Customers about to travel with questions about a Holiday Extras travel insurance policy are invited to email, [email protected]
Customers Already Abroad
Our support team are fully briefed and are here to assist and guide those abroad and those concerned about their travel plans. Best way to reach them is using our Live Chat service.
For customers returning later than planned due to the air traffic control issues, we'll do all we can to ensure that you are not charged extra for additional parking days. If you are charged on your return, please let us know and we will aim to refund any charges for days that were a result of the air traffic control issues.
The good news is that the issues that led to Monday's widespread delays and cancellations are now resolved and air traffic control is fully operational again. However, anyone travelling today is likely to experience significant disruption at the airport.BBC News
