42 Day giveaway prize draw terms and conditions

General

• The promoter of the 42 Day Giveaway ("promotion" or "the promotion") is Holiday Extras Limited, Ashford Road, Newingreen, Hythe, Kent CT21 4JF, registered in England and Wales No. 1693250.
• The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion and these terms and conditions without notice.
• No cash alternative to the promotion will be offered. The promotion is subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize offered with another of equivalent value without notice.
• The promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence about the promotion will be entered into.
• By entering the promotion you agree that in the event you win the promotion and accept a prize your name will be published on the Holiday Extras websites and used by Holiday Extras for promotional purposes.
• By entering this promotion you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
• The promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Entrants

• Each entrant must be aged 18 or over and a resident of the UK, Isle of Man or Channel Islands to participate in the promotion.
• The following are not eligible to participate: (a) employees and immediate family members of employees of the promoter; (b) any company responsible for redemption of prizes or for supplying prizes for the promotion and their respective franchisees, subsidiaries, agents and advisors; (c) other persons assisting with this promotion; (d) any person not being an individual person; (e) any syndicate or collection of persons acting in concert; (f) any person entering via an agent, or using the services of or which is an entity carrying on the business of entering (or advising on entering) prize promotions, and (g) any person using any application or process to submit an entry on that person's behalf automatically or by proxy.
• Automated entries are not permitted and will be disqualified.

Duration

• The promotion is scheduled to take place between 08:00:00 on 23rd April 2025 and 23:59:59 on 6th June 2025 (inclusive) on the Holiday Extras websites and apps.

How to enter

• The promotion is open to anyone who signs up giving us a valid email address, name and postal address.
• Prizes will be made available within 3 months of notification that you have won a prize.
• Participation in the promotion requires customers to sign up for our email marketing, which they may later opt-out of by clicking our unsubscribe link(s) and unsubscribing in the usual way.
• The entrant's data will be held and managed in accordance with the promoter's Privacy Policy which is availanble on the Promoter's website.

Prizes

The list of prizes, and the number of each prize, are available to eligible entrants to the promotion and appear at the competition page.

Each of the following prizes will be awarded and sent to the winner's address within 20 working days of the competition closing date. Prizes are non-transferable.

Insurance prizes: The winner will receive a voucher towards the cost of a Holiday Extras travel insurance policy.

Subject to Screening: All travel insurance policies are subject to medical screening. If we're unable to offer cover, we'll provide a voucher for the equivalent value to use on other Holiday Extras products.

• Meeting the eligibility criteria
• HX being able to offer cover for disclosed existing medical conditions
• Covers the purchase of one annual policies
• Covers any destination within the FCDO guidance at the time of travel
• No cash refunds
• The policy can be cancelled anytime in the 12 month period but no refund will be given to the customer
• The prize is non transferable
• Prize is claimed within 12 months of the win
• We may need to vary or withdraw this prize if for any reason we are not able to offer insurance

One Use Only: The voucher is single-use and must be redeemed in one booking. No cash alternative is available.

Valid for 12 Months: The voucher must be redeemed within 12 months of issue.

Non-transferable: The prize is non-transferable and cannot be resold or exchanged.

Winners

• Winners will be chosen randomly from all eligible entrants by the promoter using an AI tool.
• Winners will be announced the day following the win.
• The promoter will make reasonable efforts to choose winners of the promotion during the week that they have entered the promotion.
• The promoter will make reasonable efforts to inform all winners of the promotion no later than the week commencing June 9th 2025.
• Winners will be informed by email.
• If a winner does not respond to a winning notification within 7 days of the winning notification being sent, the prize will be offered to a runner-up chosen using the same process.
• If the runner up does not respond or is unable to accept the prize the offer will be deemed null and void and that prize withdrawn or offered on another competition at the sole and absolute discretion of the promoter.
• The promoter accepts no responsibilities for entries, winning notifications or any other communications that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.
• An anonymised list of winners can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the registered address of the promoter (above) no later than 31 July 2025.
