Nothing is easier than Portside Meet and Greet. All you need to do is drive to your terminal, unload your luggage and drop off any additional passengers before heading to the Short Stay car park. It is here that an expert driver will take your car and park it for you in a secured car park.
Meet and Greet Southampton Cruise Parking is ideal for travellers who want a hassle-free parking experience at an affordable price tag.
Exclusively for cruise passengers. The parking is done for you, hand your keys over to the driver, then take the short walk to the cruise terminal. Not suitable for ferries or fly cruises (where your holiday includes a flight).
Need to know
Drive to the terminal and drop off your fellow passengers and luggage, then take your car to the Short Stay car park for your terminal. It will be well signposted. Keep an eye out for a large red flag - this will lead you to your driver who will take your car to the secured site 8 miles away. It will stay here while you're away.
From here, you can walk to the terminal to check in and embark your ship.
The car park is open between 7am and 3pm on dates where ships are sailing or docking at Southampton. You won't be able to use this meet and greet service outside of these hours, so make sure to book your arrival and return date for when a cruise ship is docked.
Accessibility
The drop off point is across the road from the ship at all terminals, and no shuttle bus is required. It is suitable for customers with limited mobility.
Security
Your car will be taken to a compound 8 miles away secured by:
- CCTV
- Padlocked high fences
- On-site caretaker

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period of up to 11am on the day of collection at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard overstay rate. This can be negotiated if you give the car park plenty of notice.
Help us go green! There's no need to print out your booking confirmation, just show it on your mobile device.
Your car will be moved 8 miles away to a secured compound while you're away.
All vehicles will be accepted at the car park as long as they don't have a trailer. There are no height restrictions at the car park.
The car park is open between 7am and 3pm on dates where ships are sailing or docking at Southampton.
If you have an emergency which means you'll arrive after 3pm on the day of your sail make sure you call the car park to give them as much notice as possible. If your return time changes you won't need to change your booking as long as you're still due back between 7am and 3pm. The car park will also monitor your ship's return time.
When you book you'll need to make sure you give the car park a mobile number, car registration and ship name.
