Gatwick monorail replacement bus
A replacement bus service between Gatwick South and North terminals will start on September 28, 2009 as work begins on upgrading the Gatwick monorail.
The bus service will run from the upper forecourt of both terminals every three minutes during the day (4.00am - 6.00pm) and every six minutes at night.
Passengers are advised to allow 20 minutes for their journey.
The existing inter-terminal transit system is 22 years old and has completed over 2.5 million miles. A new track and two new shuttles will come into service next May and July, as part of the airports £1 billion investment programme.
More than 35 million travellers pass through Gatwick every year, making it the second busiest airport in the UK.
