Aegean Airlines launches Heathrow service
Leading Greek airline, Aegean Airlines, will operate two daily non-stop flights between Athens and London Heathrow from October 25 this year.
Aimed at both business and leisure travellers, the flights will depart at 12.45 and 17.20 daily from Heathrow and 9.10 and 20.20 from Athens.
The route will be served by a new Airbus A321 and will offer a full meal and in-flight entertainment system to all passengers with no additional fees.
Business class passengers will receive a choice of meals, espresso or cappuccino and more comfortable seating.
Aegean operates scheduled flights to 17 Greek destinations and 18 other international destinations. The airline has received the Skytrax World Airline award as the best regional airline in Europe for 2009.
