The hotel was OK but a Hen Party with children?! were booked into the hotel the children were running up and down the corridors banging doors, knocking on our door and running away until gone midnight we informed reception in the morning they were aware of the problem but would not refund as they said holiday extras would have to do in what a great start to a holiday

Room was not particularly clean the carpets were very dirty bathroom very dated and old and could not open any windows at all and even if we could it was overgrown bushes outside. Very noisy from other residents late at night. Would not stay here again

We changed our booking for a pre flight hotel and parking as we were happy to pay more for the convenient location of the car drop off and Meet & greet. This was not the case at all. Changes had occurred at least a week prior to our arrival and we had not been informed. Both ends we had considerable walking to do, which was hazardous, crossing so many roadsespecially with all our luggage and a 2 year old.

We booked the Airport Inn to stay the night before we were flying out to Croatia to attend my daughters wedding. As we had an extremely early flight, we wanted somewhere very close to Gatwick so we could walk to the airport in the morning and not have to worry about getting a taxi. Also, we had my brotherinlaw with us who has anxiety and mental health issues and hasn’t flown for 20 years, and isn’t a good traveller. When we arrived at the hotel we were astonished to find a notice on the front door saying that the hotel was closed and to go to a different hotel that was in Crawley!! We saw a security guard who found the manager and he explained that we should have received an email from yourselves explaining that the hotel was closed. We never received any email and we were extremely angry. My brother in law got extremely anxious so we decided to try the premier inn to see if we could stay there instead. Thankfully they had 2 rooms at a cost of £88 each, we also had to pay to park the car and in total paid £304. When we phoned the other hotel to explain they said they would cancel the room but we needed to contact yourselves instead. As you can imagine I am extremely angry at what happened, we obviously expect a full refund and some sort of compensation for the inconvenience and anxiety that you have caused. I look forward to your speedy response.

Sadly we were hugely disappointed, we understand our original booking had closed but the Europa hotel Gatwick that you moved us to was definitely not up to standard, it was filthy, don’t think it had been cleaned at all, shabby and no hygiene standards, also our original booking had a hospitality bus which would have taken us to the airport for £4 each way, however from the Europa we had to get taxis which cost us in £40 in total, really disappointed with this and not a great start to our holiday

We could not stay at the hotel booked, because the government took it over as a covid hotel. We were not notified of this and only found out when we got to the hotel. However, the hotel staff were fantastic, arranged an alternative hotel and taxi there.

I know that it is challenging times but for the second time I found that the Hotel was not expecting us when we arrived we were told the hotel was not open as it was a Quarentine Hotel they did send us somewhere else but when ordering a taxi for the airport the next morning it was £27 the original one was quoted at £12 to £15 this was the second time having booked one earlier that was cancelled in the end by me because after ringing them on a query they also told me they were shut I had absolutely no notification on either hotel from you not being available when I booked or even leading up to my trip. after all the trouble it is to travel abroad the last thing you want is to get to a hotel and be told they are not open Booking Ref-13410498 name Anthony Pike

Hotel clean & comfortable with amazing staff, rally helpful & polite. The room was a good size, very clean, quiet & a decent bed, it was perfect for the night before heading off the airport. Parking service from Maple Manor excellent as ever, wouldn’t use anyone else.

Everything went smoothly. All I need is a bed and a car park. This is the second time I used them. The staff don't say a lot...but my room was clean with everything I needed. Shuttle bus is as expected they take and pick up on time. Unfortunately they do use sheets and blankets instead of a Duvet?? I forgot that when I booked for the second time...but summer so coped. Big car park and it's a good price for solo travellers.

We had a brilliant stay at Stanhill Court hotel before flight out of Gatwick. They could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Our car stayed in their carpeting until our return. The taxi to airport was easy and cost £10 each way. Great not to have to catch the bus.

A nice hotel clean with good rooms. Close to Horley town centre if you want to stretch your legs. I had a problem getting back to Gatwick but a quick E-MAIL and the problem was sorted.

Stayed in the Acorn Lodge in Gatwick where the staff were friendly and the room adequate for our needs. Requested a lower floor room which we got and had a small meal in the hotel which was very nice. Transfer was faultless and we would use this hotel again as it was good value for money.

Shuttle took us to north terminal even though booking said it would take us to south where the hotel was. Hotel had no bookings for us. Then told us what a nightmare holiday extras were. I have since sent a complaint to holiday extras and not heard back - far over the 72 hour period it said i would hear back within.

We booked holiday inn with maple car park.both easy to get to, location was excellent from the car park to the hotel, all very smooth. My only disappointment was the food/drink, not much on the menu and all extremely expensive.

Everything was very easy and simple from when you arrive at the hotel, from checking in and also checking in your car...rooms are nice and simple...have just what you need for a overnight stay before you fly...car park nice and big for leaving your car....and return process for collecting your car quick and simple....something you need when returning from holiday and getting on your way home. So overall a great experience.
