More eastern routes from easyJet

Budget airline easyJet has added two new cities to its list of destinations served from the UK.

In total, the low-cost carrier announced 11 new routes, including services from the UK to Gdansk (Poland) and Innsbruck (Austria).

A new daily service between London Gatwick to Gdansk will commence on October 1st.

Then, on October 29th, another daily service will launch from Gatwick - this time to Bucharest.

In December, a final route from Gatwick will begin operations. This will be a six-times weekly flight from the London hub to Innsbruck.

Finally, routes between Edinburgh and Gdansk and Bristol and Gdansk are set to start during October.

A statement from the airline read: "This announcement follows the recent news that the airline will also expand with new services from; Bristol to Madeira and Lisbon (starts October 29th and 31st respectively); Gatwick to Lisbon (starts October 1st); Stansted to Madeira (starts October 29th); Edinburgh and Bournemouth to Krakow (starts October 29th and 30th respectively)."
