Benefits for business passengers
June 2007
Passengers flying first and business class on Air China's services between London Heathrow and Beijing will be able to enjoy new cabins from June 21st.
The airline announced that first-class passengers on its daily service between the two countries will be seated in newly designed seats with three positions - standard, executive and rest.
In the rest position, the seat fully reclines, becoming 75-inch flat bed. Business class seats can be reclined to 170 degrees and have a spacious 60-inch pitch.
Seats in both classes come with 10.4-inch LCD screens to allow passengers to enjoy state-of-the-art entertainment facilities. Both cabins also will feature ample power sockets, letting passenger charge their own electrical equipment during the flight.
Elsewhere, Virgin Atlantic revealed that its upper class passengers will be able take advantage of a unique sunglasses styling clinic at the airline's flagship clubhouse in Heathrow.
This June, Lucy Garrett, from Lucy Garrett Styling, will offer passenger consultations on what type of sunglasses best suit their face shape.
