Teleticket launches inaugural summer flight

One of Scotland's fastest growing holiday operators has today launched its great value summer programme.

Teleticket Scotland, which operates from Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow airports, launched the first flight of its summer schedule and offered passengers aboard its Glasgow to Tenerife service a 10% discount off travel booked in October 2009.

"We are excited about the launch of our first flight of the summer season from Glasgow Airport," said Hannah Wheeler, head of sales and marketing at Teleticket Scotland. "As Scotland's number one flight only company and the third largest tour operator in Scotland, our load factors for all our Scottish flights are looking good - especially considering the economic climate.

"We need to work together to ensure that holidaymakers continue to have the confidence to travel. Visit your local travel agent to view our product range of flights and holidays departing from Scottish airports."

Glasgow Airport's managing director, Amanda McMillan, was delighted with the expansion of Teleticket's operations: "Teleticket Scotland is a fast growing name in the Scottish travel industry and we're delighted to see them expand from our airports, particularly at a time when many other holiday companies are reducing capacity in response to the current downturn.

"The expansion from Glasgow is particularly well timed and shows that there is still strong demand for good quality, affordable holidays. Teleticket Scotland tick the box on both counts. With a strong reputation for service and a fantastic range of destinations, particularly from Glasgow, Teleticket Scotland's new summer programme offers real value for money for Scottish holidaymakers."

Among its selection of flight routes, Teleticket Scotland provides great value connections to Spain, the Canary Islands, Portugal, Cyprus and Turkey.
