Silverjet sets sights on Dubai

As it launches a new service from Luton airport to Dubai next month, business-class only airline Silverjet has announced a 2 for 1 offer on seats.

Flights to Dubai start on 18 November and anyone who books before midnight on Saturday 27 October will receive a complimentary ticket to use for themselves or a nominated companion.

Silverjet is the first business-class only airline to launch a non-transatlantic service, and believes the large British ex-pat community in Dubai and the flourishing business scene there make it the perfect choice.

“Dubai has attracted large levels of investment and development over recent years to become a globally acclaimed destination for both business and leisure travellers alike,” explains Silverjet ceo, Lawrence Hunt.

Silverjet started with a daily service to New York Newark, and the route has proved so popular that it began a second daily flight last month. The airline is now looking at other long-haul routes for its business class only concept, including Los Angeles, San Francisco and Johannesburg.

Silverjet operates Boeing 767 planes with 100 seats and 6’3” flat beds. It is the only commercial airline in the world to offer private terminals at both ends of the route. Here passengers are pampered with luxury lounge facilities such as chair-side check-in, Wi-Fi access, and refreshments. A private chauffeur service and valet parking are also available.
