More kids clubs from First Choice
[March 6th 2009]
Tour operator First Choice has increased the number of kids clubs for its family holidays.
The holiday company says that with families feeling the pinch this year, forking out on childcare whilst on holiday is just one expense that parents can do without. As a result more Kids Academy kids clubs have been introduced, as well as more qualified childcare staff to run clubs and crèches.
First Choice claims to offer more kids clubs than any other UK holiday company and says parents can now enjoy free childcare for their kids from 3 to 15 years old.
Kids clubs are available in a selection of holiday resorts in Europe, Turkey and the Caribbean, allowing parents to relax and enjoy a few hours together knowing their children are having fun and are being well taken care of. Creches for babies up to 35 months are also available in First Choice Holiday Villages, while in other family hotels care is available for babies from 12-35 months.
First Choice Kids Academies are split into three different age groups: Littlestars for 3-5 year olds, Superstars for 6-8 year olds and Wavelength for 9-15 year olds.
For younger children First Choice has teamed up with HIT Entertainment to bring children's TV characters such as Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam, Thomas the Tank Engine and Angelina Ballerina to resorts. Older kids at Wavelength clubs can enjoy activities based on the ITV show Britannia High. Activities include themed dance classes, music and screenings of popular episodes.
At the brand new 5 Sun Lopesan Baobab Resort in Gran Canaria from the First Choice Premier Family collection the company is introducing new Premier Childcare. Crèche and Kids Academies have been incorporated into the hotel with free childcare from 12 months up to 8 years old. First Choice hopes to roll out the concept across more of its Premier Family units in the future.
Family holidays at the new Lopesan Baobab Resort start from £699 per adult and £239 for the first child and from £445 for the second child. This is based on two adults and two children staying on an all inclusive basis and departing from Gatwick airport on 17th June 2009.
