Monarch Manchester winter sun flights
Low fares airline Monarch is promoting its range of flights from Manchester to Malaga and Alicante for those searching for sunshine this winter.
One way fares start from £37.99 including taxes and charges, with daily flights operating all year round to the Spanish destinations.
Managing director of Monarch Flights and Holidays, Liz Savage said: Monarch is already market leader on ten out of eleven routes from Manchester and with almost 1.8 million seats available this coming year, we look set to retain this position. This clearly demonstrates that when customers have a choice, they choose to fly with Monarch. Other carriers have clearly recognised this, hence their decision to withdraw from these markets.
In contrast, Monarch is increasing the number of destinations it operates to from Manchester this winter, giving the people of the northwest even more choice. In response to customer feedback, new scheduled services will operate to the beautiful Canary Islands of Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura from the end of October which, combined with increased capacity to Tenerife and Lanzarote, means Monarch will be operating its largest ever programme of flights to the Canary Islands this winter.
Monarch operates scheduled flights from Manchester to Alicante, Almeria, Barcelona, Faro, Fuerteventura, Gibraltar, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Larnaca, Majorca, Malaga, Menorca, Murcia and Tenerife.
