Winehouse to whisk hubby to India

Amy Winehouse is planning to take her husband on a holiday to India, according to reports.

Pop star Amy Winehouse is hoping to cheer her husband up by whisking him away on a backpacking trip to India, reports claim.

The Rehab singer plans to take other half Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently behind bars in HM Pentonville prison awaiting trial for GBH and other charges, on a four-week tour of the Asian nation over the Christmas and new year period.

Amy reportedly spent hours organising the trip on the internet before informing her husband of the news as she visited him in jail.

A friend said: "She knows Blake has had a really miserable time of things of late and wanted to cheer him up by making a spectacularly romantic gesture.

"The pair of them have fantasised about getting away from it all and going unrecognised abroad and Amy felt that India would be the perfect place to do just that."

With over a billion people living within its borders, India is the world's second most populous country and could provide the perfect place for Amy and her other half to lose themselves in the crowds.
