Big savings on holidays to Turkey
[March 31st 2009]
Savings of up to 40% are on offer for self-catering holidays in Turkey for Easter and the Spring bank holiday.
Holidays in Turkey are expected to be even more popular this year as the weakness of the pound means holidays in eurozone countries like Spain, France and Portugal will be more expensive than last year.
Turkey holidays specialist Artemis Travel has holiday offers for April, May and June with up to 40% off rental prices at its self-catering villas and apartments.
Artemis says some of the best holiday deals can be found at its Beach Villa properties on the Aegean coast with views across to the Greek islands of Farmaca and Samos. The villas sleep up to eight people and now available at the special offer price of £320 for seven nights, a saving of more than £200 off the brochure price.
Reductions of up to 40% can also be enjoyed at the Club Aegean resort. Here the three bedroom villas, which sleep up to eight people, cost £250 for seven nights for arrivals in April, May and June 2009.
Facilities at Club Aegean include the Apollo Health Spa, which offers top of the range gymnasium, sauna and steam rooms and a range of massage and spa treatments.
At Artemis Travels third resort in Turkey, the Aegean Park, prices have been reduced by up to 10% with week-long stays in April starting from £25 per person. Two bedroom apartments at the Aegean Park sleeping up to six people are priced at £150 in April, and £220 in May and June.
Three bedroom apartments sleeping up to eight are also available. For April arrivals at the Aegean Park these cost £200. For arrivals in May and June the special offer price is £340.
Several airlines offer flights from UK airports to the nearby resort of Bodrum including Thomas Cook Airlines, First Choice Airways and Thomsonfly. Thomas Cook Airlines also operates flights to Izmir, as does British Airways.
