Airline offers free Disneyland tickets

[March 9th 2009]

Regional airline Flybe is giving away free tickets to Disneyland Paris for all online flight bookings to Paris made before June 26th.

The low fares airline operates 170 flights a week to and from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris from seven UK airports: Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Glasgow, Jersey, Manchester and Southampton. Fares start from £29.99 one way including taxes and airport charges.

The first named passenger on flight bookings to Paris will be offered a 1-day Hopper Ticket to Disneyland Paris, Europe’s leading tourist attraction, worth up to £40. A 15% discount will also be offered on additional 1 or 2-day park hopper tickets purchased at the time of booking.

“Flybe recognises that times are tough for holiday travel planning this year with families especially having to keep a close eye on their holiday budgets. Flybe is proud to offer more routes into Paris from the UK regions than any other airline and so to work with one of Europe’s leading tourist destinations is a partnership sprinkled with pixie dust!,” says Flybe director of marketing, Simon Lilley.

“This new promotion has been designed to enable our customers to continue to plan a magical holiday or short break away despite the current economic gloom. Where better to lift the gloom than at Disneyland Paris?,” Lilley adds.

Closer to home Flybe reports that its new Gatwick to Newquay flights are proving popular. “Spring has definitely come early to the South West and again we would like to thank all the passengers who have already enjoyed a Flybe flight for their support in making this route such an early success,” comments Flybe chief commercial officer, Mike Rutter.

“What is particularly pleasing to see is the enthusiasm with which both business and leisure travellers have chosen to fly with us, recognising the convenient, quality service we offer to and from London Gatwick,” Rutter continues.

“We are especially delighted to play a role in assisting local businesses during such challenging economic times as well as ensuring that families can afford much-needed breaks with the lowest available fares on this key route,” he concludes.

Bookings on the Gatwick to Newquay route are strong for Easter. Flybe is reporting brisk sales for flights from Gatwick to Newquay especially on Maundy Thursday returning on Easter Monday.
