Hollywood couple pick Greek island

One of Hollywood's longest lasting couples, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, decided to take a holiday on a beautiful Greek island, reports suggest.

Hello! magazine reports that the pair - who have been an item since 1982 - picked the secluded island of Santorini for their summer holiday this year.

Like many celebrities this year, the couple hired a private yacht for some of the vacation. From the boat the pair swam in the perfectly clear waters and took a trip on a small rowing boat, the magazine reports.

It certainly seemed like the Overboard stars were enjoying their Greek holiday, as Kurt was also spotted laughing while eating a meal in a local restaurant.

Santorini is located in the southern Aegean Sea, about 120 miles from the Greek mainland.

Holidaymakers on the island are advised to sample the local wine, which is produced from the indigenous grape variety, Assyrtiko. Experts believe Santorini's vines are particularly ancient.

The island also boasts a number of fascinating archaeological sites for tourists to explore.
