Florida prepares for busy autumn
America's Sunshine State is already getting set for a busy autumn this year, with a number of festivals and special events for visitors planned.
One of the main events of the season will be the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.
As well as a host of culinary delights and seminars on beer and wine, guests will have the chance to sample plonk from a selection of world famous wineries.
Also in Orlando will be the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The attraction, running nightly throughout October at Disney's Magic Kingdom, will include a parade and a bewitching fireworks spectacular.
Other Halloween themed events set to take place include Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando, Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Africa and Halloween Spooktacular at SeaWorld.
For parents looking for some intellectual stimulation, the Floridian town of Naples will be hosting a special maritime exhibition at the Collier County Museum from now until October 31st.
Entitled 'From Sea to Shining Sea: 200 Years of Charting America's Coasts', the exhibit celebrates the history, accomplishments and scientific contributions of America's shippers.
